Summary
As an Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that guestrooms, working areas, as well as the hotel premises are always tidy and clean. Also, you will coordinate daily housekeeping operations and maintain the housekeeping operating standards.

You are also responsible for supervising room attendants to deliver an excellent Guest satisfaction and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities


Some of your responsibilities would include the following:

1. Responsible for the smooth operation of floors assigned.
2. Daily allocation of rooms and deep cleaning tasks to team members.
3. Ensuring that guest needs are met and their rooms kept tidy to their taste.
4. Ensures that the housekeeping operation is performed as per the laid down standards.
5. Manage guest requests, including VIP amenities and communicating them to assigned team member
6. Report maintenance issues to management in a timely fashion
7. Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
8. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations as well as health & safety legislation.
9. Ensure misplaced guest items are kept safe and reported to management
10. Carryout routine inspection of guest bedrooms to ensure they meet set standards.

Desired competencies

To be selected for the role, you should be able to demonstrate the following:
• Possess minimum of Three (3) years housekeeping experience in a Hotel
• Be courteous and friendly
• Ability to provide friendly and professional service at all times
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Computer literate
