yes.
when I sent the money to his account I was debited but he did not get the money. he even checked his account through mobile banking and the money did not reflect.
immediately I supposedly sent the money to him that is when I placed the order in aliexpress. when I tried to fund it was unsuccessful. so am confused now
Did he check transaction history using mobile app? Not just checking if the amount is confirmed.
And the did aliexpress send u message that they're processing your order? If so the payment is already made, u should sit down & relaxe

U haven't answered my question is it Access bank MasterCard u used or Visa card?
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by nuramohammed26: 9:45pm On Jan 03, 2017
Announcing new product means cut in price of current product, also availability is quite fast when it comes to xiaomi phones, at times 2-4 weeks ,again if I will be stuck with a phone for @least 12 months, then it has to be something I can hang on to.
guente02:

Even if they announce new device have you factored the delay before china seller will get copies and all that presale shii.
Una dey try o.

I've checked the transaction history in the access Bank account and it turns out that the money actually entered and was also credited to aliexpress.
thanks for the tip.
I purchased a lot of accessories at once from aliexpress but only got a message from the seller of the tempered glass that I purchased. do I need to be worried about this?
I used access Bank visa card for the transaction.

So because people are having issues flashing roms, it means the phone is not OK? I don't get your point o.

Not everybody cares about flashing or updating phones, they just want a phone that works.

I do not think the above is enough reason to discourage people from buying the phone Sir.

Even when redmi note 3 came out, people initially where having issues unlocking and flashing before better guides using edl modes came out.

There are good reviews by ordinary users out there, even opinions page on Gsmarena by ordinary users is not bad.

Personally I don't think a community full of geeks/flashers/rom tweakers is the best place to get a user opinion about a phone for a newbie.

It's like telling an average Nigerian guy or lady to go to xda-developers to get opinion before buying a phone.

Tell me the best phone in this planet that you will not find a flashing, tweaking or rom issues on any of those geek sites, yet the average user keeps on enjoying their phones

I can also fish out for you lots of unappealing comments for the note 4 grin depending on the site or who is making the comment., especially considering we have a lot of people out there with a negative bias for MTK processors, lol. This does not mean the phone is not good.

Every single phone will have negative comments, as long as its not a general problem like the Samsung note 5 or hardware issue, you're good to go.

redmi note 3 prime pro se is $157.99 from Xiaomi online store aliexpress. total is $164.57 or so plus shipping.
but you can use the new user perk on their app and get 10% discount I.e $10 off $150 and above product you get, so you eventually get it @ $154.57
Hello Miss.. Pls how do I locate the what you are talking about? Am a new user too, and I want to place my first order this January.

That you don't care about updates does not mean you'll not inform others about the problems they'll encounter when they try to flash theirs.

There were cases of bricked device when trying to flash official rom, so what is wrong in telling people what to expect? Someone here @scarr also wanted to get updates but was unable to flash his phone.

A lot of people use their phones for mobile banking and other related transactions and using a phone with a vendor rom increases security risk.

A lot of people use their phones for mobile banking and other related transactions and using a phone with a vendor rom increases security risk.

there's absolutely nothing wrong in informing people about possible problems they may encounter when trying to flash their devices.

on the other hand, telling people to "avoid a device" and saying the device is "not a finished product", just because some vendors installed vendor roms and some people are finding it difficult to go back to official rom is a bit far reaching.

there are a lot of vendors out there that install official roms or state the type of rom installed on a device eg xiaomi online store, so you know before buying. its also even possible to chat up a seller and request that you want an untouched device with the offical rom.

so if xiaomi makes a product, puts an official rom on it, and some vendors remove the rom and put thier own, how does that make the product an unfinished product?

the same thing happened when redmi note 3 snapdragon first came out. a lot of poeple where bricking their phones trying to revert to offical roms from vendor roms. there are so many unbricking guides for redmi note 3 on the internet. does that make redmi note 3 an unfinished product too? even till date as we speak, some redmi note 3 phones still ships with vendor roms from china, and till date, people are still bricking their redmi note 3 phone trying to change to official rom. it doesnt take anything away from the device

you are doing a great job on this thread and im sure even if people dont say it out loud, they do appreciate and respect your contributions. keep it up and keep it real.

if anyone here has bought the redmi 4, there's no need to be scared, its a good device. once its popular and out of china, global roms will be available and you can flash to to your hearts desire.

I totally agree that saying the Redmi 4 is "not a finished product" is totally wrong and false. RN3 also faced the same thing when it came out but now its people's favorite
POC, I haven't actually tried flashing any ROM on it yet, was just gathering info from countless threads on en.miui and xiaomi.eu.

Im just about to try flashing this morning d official 8.1.2.0 china ROM after which if successful, i would flash EU ROM, if i don't revert here ASAP, that means i must have bricked my phone lol but its a risk and adventure im willing to take to unlock "Full Potential". Wish me luck

@Paxziano The Redmi 4 is a good phone if at this moment you don't care about customs, updates, root and "full potential". But to be frank the vendor ROMS on the Redmi 4 are probably more stable than official ROMS as confessed on several threads on en.miui

Great! Very nice and true! Very good device, no need to be scared, even many of those sites with complaints from some users are filled with newbies, you won't get any device if you follow their comments. Learned my lesson in the days of Sony Ericsson versus Nokia, you have to see many bad reviews and comments about Sony Ericsson c902 like buttons falling off and all that. I took the risk and after about 7 years now, phone still rocks, should be one of the greatest java phones ever. grin

You can say that again. Even the Redmi note 2 had similar fate. We can almost certainly expect same for Redmi note 4.

Also, what does the vendor gain by removing the official rom and installing his/her own rom?
