Which kain perspective, for goodness sake??! Most people are irritated by her reference to a lack of home training on the part of those who prefer to use their hands to eat traditional food! If she had just said that it was better to use a knife & fork for African cuisine or meals, and had left it at that without inserting that insulting remark about lack of home training, her comments would not have drawn so much flak!

Even if you eat amala, fufu, ewedu, egusi, oha, ogbono etc., with your hands, wouldn't you wash your hands properly with soap and water to get rid of the smell after lunch?? The only time the smell clings to your fingers, is if your hands were not thoroughly washed and dried properly, after the meal! Rinse your fingers more than once if you have to, and clean the debris out from under your nails. The smell would disappear. Use a sanitiser too, if it is available. End of story!
