Honestly, it saddens my heart to read such news. Just why will I be happy that someone has been scammed when it can happen to me? I've expressed this thought to someone here a couple of times (won't mention his name though)... Scammed of my wealth? Even scammed of someone's money - this is just the worst!

I have always expressed my views especially on the victims. Our business is a risky one and its good we know the risk and take every precaution to mitigate against this risk.

I sure do know how to nab a scam artist but for some reasons, I have not given it a go. And am so sure that my reason could be yours. And there's a reason Tabbaz keeps his face and identity hidden.

Reading scam news is like been ra.ped!

Guys,

Advice needed please.

Bought btc from someone yesterday but till now, I haven't received it. It definitely left the sender's wallet but it's not even showing pending on my wallet transaction history and it's on the blockchain log as an unconfirmed transaction almost 24 hours after.

The necessary fee was paid so I don't think that's why. What else could be causing the delay?

Thank God you later said " use an Escrow ". I have done tones of deal here many send me first and for others we use escrow. For ur information i have spent a lot catching thieves. But its a simple thing, u don't go faster than the victim. If anyone scam you ask people for the authorities outside here to table your case squarely and follow it up. Do the one you can and give feedback you will see more than willing individual who will come out and join you. How will I go and look for Ahwaritefe the known scammer when the victim are not doing anything.

If I go to the DSS what will they ask me ? " are u d one he scammed " and I will say no. Then why am I there?

Lastly. You don't fight a scam by violating the forum rules. If you think you are clean use your old moniker to fight scam and say what ever you want to say. Don't go and hide under a new I'd. Those who do such will be liked to scammers and that's what they are.

I have always stated that anyone who is not comfortable should use an escrow.

I have also done deals with couple of guys here and some I pay first, others they pay first and some we use escrow.

Now you know why it is just so difficult for these scam guys to be caught because in most cases, the victims are just reluctant to pursue the case. It is not about spending a lot and there's practically nothing the authorities can do especially the Police. Let me not even go there. Now you talk about the DSS? When they tell you that they don't have time for petty criminals?

Now this is were I have a reservation....you can fight scam by any means "whatsoever"....well, the law hates it, but for overall good, you use any means whatsoever. That is why I tell anyone who cares to listen that "truth", "honesty", "integrity" "morality" are all relative terms.

The world is very complicated. You could have very good intention but how you carry out your actions is something else.

if there is evidence that the person sent it and it has left his/her wallet, u will get it. Just cool down.
