Oya give am d rest
Rednaxelot:
The wage is just too small joor!

Comparing Oscar on a £400,000 weekly pay and Tevez on a weekly pay of £615,000.
That amount seems to be too small for Mikel.

Well, £140,000 weekly pay is not bad for a pensioner.

This one is not a surprise. Mikel has never been ambitious or the type to want to improve as a footballer, I doubt it if his wages was ever increased through out his lengthy stay in Chelsea cos when you don't improve you won't have the courage to ask for an increase and the club in turn will just extend your contract so as to have you on the bench incase something goes wrong with the favorites, like what happened in 2012 champions League final when Ramires, Meireles, Terry, and Ivanovic were all suspended for the match. I don't hate you but you were once second to Lionel Messi. Even the Chinese are offering to pay you 140k per week. That's the Lowest I have heard of, of all the players who moved from Europe to the Far East

I think you are right

Yea, and you know so much about football, even more than the past and present Chelsea coaches and to set the record right, I'm a Chelsea fan and i have been for a while now. Please remind me of one unique trait Mikel has as a midfielder, and tell me why Chelsea keep on buying midfielders even when Mikel was available, and tell me why China is only offering him 140k per week if they don't know his worth. Like i said Mikel played the final because of suspensions to Ramires and Meireles.
Honestly, you know little about Football. How many seasons did he play for Chelsea&despite many coaches&players coming around,he has always maintained His starting place in the team.Check how many days cup finals he played&not forgetting he played both European finals.Last season he was called the Zidane of Chelsea. He only lost his place cos of Olympics. He didn't score goals, but he was one of the heartbeats of the team.Give credit where it's due

Somethings ain't adding up here. First, the money quoted is too small, even Gervinho is getting more. And e be like say dem do the signing in secret, na camera phone dem take snap that foto? Mikel should be bigger than that, after all we talking bout a premier league play

I wish him the best. The amount quoted in the deal is low compared to what the other players that moved from europe to china got. Well, I guess he has reasons for signing that deal. How this affects his influence in super eagles remains to be seen.

Listen to yourself, he played with the best indeed, all those you mentioned Mikel was always playing second fiddle to them, Mikel is contented just sitting on the bench he only served as a back up to all those you mentioned, tell me one season when Mikel was first choice at Chelsea, Mikel is immobile, always afraid to take risk. If you pass a ball to Mikel be ready to receive it back cos he's always afraid to take risk, experiment or make mistakes. He's not even useful in parking the bus cos he's very slow and can't orchestrate a counter attack. Why do you think Mikel hasn't moved on since all these days? It's because he's OK as long as he's collecting his 75k a week that has never been increased. Normally good players always find another club if they are not guaranteed first team football. Now he's behind Loftus cheek, Faberegas, Kante, Matic and Chalobah so he's not being sold cos of Matic.
