There are roads for everything and alot of factors determine maximum speed that can be attained on a road.

Third mainland bridge I can attain 160 to 200km/h on weekends with the right vehicle. Even though the required maximum speed is 100km/h for cars.

You just have to know where to overkill and where you need to apply sense.

At the adeniji end of Third mainland bridge there are buses that stop there for busstop, I believe the speed limit there is 100km/h, it's suicidal doing even 70km while decending the highway cause those danfo drivers just cut into Lane, hitting an LT35 or VW transporter at 40km/h turns your front end into marshed metal, radiator a pack of metallic plates, chassis a bulk of compressed metal, engine is a write off. Just pray the driver isn't confined permanently in a wheel chair.

You can use them but not in town, they are useful on free runway which I don't think we have in Nigeria but if you wanna test yours, try drive come North east states...they have the road OR drive to Cotonou

Autobahns previously had no speed limit. Now the sections that go through built up areas have a recommended speed limit of 130, while rural sections have no speed limits (you can even drive at 200 kmph).

Have you heard of the autobahn? No speed limit for most part.
Germany's autobahn network has a total length of about 12,949 kilometres (8,046 mi) in 2015, the 4th longest in the world behind, China, US and Spain.
Although, speed limits applies to certain types of vehicles but for drivers of every other vehicle, their attitude toward speed is like.......

The speedometer indicates the maximum capacity of your engine. There are many things in life who you don't utilise at maximum capacity, not only cars. It's like asking why do we walk most of the time when we can always run?

However at some point in time, that maximum can be of use. Imagine trying to run away from danger, you probably won't look at your speedometer as you try to get away.
