Brief post-match report:

Quite a disappointment for everyone at the club to have crashed out of the FA cup at the 3rd stage in front of our home supporters.
It was an enthralling game with a magnificent performance from the home team which unfortunately couldn't be reflected by the score line. The players gave their all.
A match which many thought to be plain sailing after rashford's brace put us 2 goals ahead before the break.
On the restart, the away team who hadn't really threatened all game caught the home aside unaware with a quick run through the middle, Liam Kelly and Daniel interchanging quick passes before the latter taking a shot outside the box to stun the keeper and bring them back into the game.
We had another chance to immediately restore our 2 goals lead with rashford sending our captain through on goal only to see his shot sliced wide, you could only tell from his reaction how bad he felt to have missed that chance.
Another mishap was to happen in the 63rd minute, when the refree gave a questionable penalty for an alleged handling in the box by smalling, Liam Kelly stepped up to take and duly slotted it in sending the keeper the wrong way to the delight of the away supporters.
More misery was to come when smalling was given his marching orders for a second yellow, with our manager furious on the touchline.
