Manchester United have signed highly-rated Brighton scout Mark Anderson. Anderson's remit is to look for potential new recruits from the south of England who could boost Jose Mourinho's squad. Former Liverpool scout Anderson is credited with spotting Raheem Sterling when he was a 15-year-old at QPR and he admitted the chance to work for the Old Trafford club was too good to turn down. |

Very happy with our performance. Only Blind was suspect, every other person showed the gulf in class between EPL and Championship football. Shout out to Fellaini, he really tried today. Hopefully Rojo's injury is not too serious 1 Like |

Martial is helping out defensively now, good to see...Rashford is still not ready to lead our attack all on his own, the inexperience is just too glaring however, he is on the right path, could easily have had a hattrick of goals today |

"I don't know [what the damage is]. We have to wait a little bit. A muscle is a muscle and you're always afraid of it but let's see what is going on. "It would be so important for us to keep our central defenders fit for the month of January. But I prefer to wait. Chris Smalling and Phil Jones did a very good job for us." - Jose Mourinho |

Four goals scored, none conceded. Great! Even though it was championship opposition. I am so impressed with how Phil Jones has improved and attacks every aerial ball in the box with aggression. Just hope he can stay fit and avoid injury. I have also been impressed with Rojo and Smalling, Jose has really improved the mentality and confidence of this team. We can only get better. Now on to the mid week League cup semi final against Hull, however the most important game is against Liverpool next weekend-if we win that match it sets the cat among the birds. 1 Like |

“Manchester United of the past six weeks have looked like the Manchester United of old. They want to score goals and they’re playing with purpose and creating chances all the time. It’s difficult to play against,” - Paul Scholes |

“We’ve got two home games coming up so hopefully I can get the next one in one of those games. “Hopefully I will be up there on my own. I’m very happy and honoured to be able to play for this club and to be up there with Sir Bobby. Very proud. “I’m enjoying my football. It’s a huge part of my life, this football club, and I’m very honoured to be there alongside Sir Bobby. - WAYNE ROONEY |

"He [Anthony Martial] played very well against Middlesbrough but because he was not playing for a long time, he and myself felt that 48 hours later against West Ham it was better for him not to start. "Today, fresh, and again, very objective. Playing against [Chris] Gunter, who is a very good right-back, and he performed very well again". - JOSE MOURINHO |

“The goals for an attacking player are always nice, for his [Rashford] confidence it is important he scores these goals but we won against West Ham with his contribution, we won against Middlesbrough with his contribution, and he didn’t score goals. “I spoke to him at half-time and I told him that I don’t care about the goals he missed in the first half. He had a big responsibility in the way we were breaking down their defensive line, he was playing so well for us so one less goal doesn’t change it for an attacking player. “He’s quick and against these teams we know they play from the back and use the goalkeeper very much, you press and you can get things.” - JOSE MOURINHO |

Khaytunechi: Van Gaals team was so poor. Some days back i bought pes2017 let me use it to while away time on my pc using my team and my brother it was hopeless, i was 19th on the table after 10 games. I was suffering with injuries badly as the season wore on so i said let me try and bring in fresh faces. Who are available? Varela, Borthwick Jackson, tuazebe, wilson, fosu mensah, januzaj, mcnair, love, joe riley, pereirra, lingard. even them rojo, darmian, schneiderlin, depay could not save me as their player ratings where already low to begin with. Na there i begin curse Van Gaal. The man settle down yeye man u. Now if i pick up fifa and play with the current united, i am on ghost mode. |

Looks like City are signing Rakitic from Barca. Very strange Barca are willing to let him go considering their struggles this season. |
