AAOL:having gone back to read previous posts as you referenced, i got to see that and i can personally make some deductions from my observation. 1) she's got 1-2yrs work experience in HRM/Human Resource Officer and her intended program is pgd in HRM which signals clear correlation. 2) she's got good travel history to very good countries which a VO would not doubt her intentions. in conclusion another applicant who may not have her kind of profile in travel history might be questioned on purpose of visit not because there isn't correlation but a VO may want to see clear justification of the PGD program to her career and the future prospects and why wouldn't such program be obtained in home country which may bring about a VO demanding crystal clear explanations by means of SOP. 1 Like |

[quote author=Austinpee4 post=52612596] You seem to have a good advantage and a strong chance of getting a study permit approval with all you outlined here. However, You must first secure admission for your intended program. Good a thing you are already thinking ahead. 1.Including your previous Msc in your application can be to ur advantage or not. If you eventually gain admission into the same chemical engineering for the second master, conviencing the VO maybe difficult becos you have one already in that area and have mentioned it. If you choose to go for a branch in your field or a closely related area in your field which i can see you are opting for, this could fly as you can explain in your SOP your interest in that area and it's significance to you moving forward but this will always be substantiated with previous activity (s) in that area.(Work experience, research). 2. You know what you've been engaging yourself with since you left the job in 2014, You can relate it to your profession or better still, research interest. If you choose not to include your previous msc in your application, all the gaps prior now must be explained and tend towards a need to upgrade academically. 3.Your schoolarship apparently covers pretty much everything and i want to believe it's for the entire duration of your program. But the inconsistencies surrounding remitting of funds for nigerian students on schoolarships have been often seen and i also believe the VO are aware of this, if you can have the agency pay your tuition, accomodation before you apply for your study permit, it should boost your chances. All the best to you. Thanks Austinpee4, u are a great guy. I am still expecting more responses from the house |

Happy new year everyone, been a while. @ frost baby, welcome o. You might need to be at University Centre on Monday like 8am so you can get your SIN if you haven't gotten it yet. I've got some friends with similar experience at POE and still unresolved till now. Cheers 1 Like |

olatuns2016: Nice profile, wrong program I guess. No b the agent submit with adv diploma 4 you before? I don't think age is a barrier if you are not heading towards 50 years. Please, if you can, try reapply yourself. It may be demanding, but it is worth it. |

lovetrumps:Haven't you waited long enough to guard your approval discretely? I plead with you.... Please be smart... go in first and then do whatever you wish!!.... If you insist, just apply for deferral as usual.... secure new offer/intake and present at PoE when you are ready...no one will arrest you for this.... your permit has a "enter by" date! Regards. |

Happy new year guys, I was refused visa Dec 2015 and i decided to re-apply from Nigeria, i will be applying third week or last week of jan, my questions are; 1, is there still enough time to apply visa for May Start? 2, the 1500 CAD deposit is due by Feb 10 2016 and i haven't paid, can i apply for visa without paying it and pay ard first week when my docs must have been with the embassy guys? 3, The Statement of Account n docs used in my first application was dated around 17th of November, can i still use same SOA n other docs or is it too old? 4, Is police clearance cert mandatory as the one i applied for in UK has not arrived and i project it will arrive a day to my departure, will it make sense to submit the UK own without Naija own? Cheers |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by princeadedayo: 3:00am On Jan 08, 2017 |
Austinpee4: I quite disagree. In a situation where by a decision has been reached, your passport would be requested by Lagos office or ABUJA depending on where u reside thereafter it will be sent to which ever country that is processing it. That's why PP takes time if u notice for online applicants. When the passport is back you will see d country that issued it. They don't issue on behalf of each other 1 Like 2 Shares |

Thank you, the thing is, I have no where to leave my child. I am still trying to make arrangements for that. I am still waiting for cic update on her applicatio because uptill now there has been no response on her visa. The school resumes on the 9th, they said they can only give me up to the 13th to arrive. They cannot give 2 weeks extension. But they agreed to and have given me a new letter of offer and a new letter of acceptance for may. I just want to know if there is something else I am to show at the point of entry. Folaroyal: |
