Hello house. Please a friend of mine needs an assistance from any one in Murray State University, Kentucky by nextweek. He could not connect to nairaland to ask for the favour himself. He will be travelling to the above school nextweek and he needs help from anyone over there. He will be studying English & Literature for his Masters. Please anyone to help him concerning accommodation for 1 or 2days b4 he settles. God bless us all.

there are no "available" jobs for visitors. Don't waste your time and end up damaging your chances of visiting/living in the US permanently.

would like to address the issue of B1 and F1 to the best of my knowledge. You can only be in a country under 1 status. You can have a valid b1 visa and valid f1. However, you can only use 1 at the moment of entry. Your status when entering determines a lot of things. If you have a b1 visa you would need to obtain an F1 visa to be able to enter as a student. Your b1 is still valid but you are coming in with F1 as a student, if you are denied F1, your b1 is still valid but you can't come in as a student, only as a visitor. If your F1 is granted. B1 is still valid. But of course by the end of your program b1 would have expired and almost irrelevant. Note: if you come in as a student, you will remain a student on F1 till you leave or change your status. All F1 rules will apply to you. If you break it. You go out of status , doesn't matter if your b1 is valid or not

Am inside the embassy ryt now.. Only usa embassy open.. O my lawd.. Nah the whole Nigeria they here oo.. If they grant everyone am seeing here visa who will remain in Nigeria nah.. Oluwa ooo

please, do not be discouraged, Whites happen to respect "Last wishes" and I personally believe you'll get the Visa...just prove you'll come back home,go with necessary proofs and back ups for your story and God's gonna surprise you pleasantly...

..and you are encouraging him to waste the little he has by applying for visa.
