Anchor University owned by the Deeper Christian Life Ministry(DCLM) Popularly known as "Deeper Life" has released their school fees for the 2016/2017 session. The session is beginning with three Faculties, Natural and Applied Science, Social science, and Humanities. details and some screenshots of the fees are attached below:

Even though I will agree that the fees are high, I can't blame them because the cost of running such an institution is high. I only hope they also give scholarship opportunities for good but indigent students

The way people used to talk about Covenant University makes me think Deeper Life will come up with 100K as School fees per session.

OP Abeg go and research other private universities owned by churches maybe you will see anyone within 100k range

1. Quality education is not cheap anywhere in the world. Check Harvard, Princeton and similar universities.
2. I believe that the church would have a scholarship scheme for bright students who are members and non-members of the church.
3. Remember, this is a second private university in Lagos.

We can only give them say a ten period before we judge.

my brother,this online heroes the tire me...even private secondary schools are quite expensive.you can't expect the church to spend so much to start a university,and abandoned it later due to inbality to fund it...if you ask me,the school fee is not expensive compared to other private universities.

How many member of the church can afford this,judgement day is coming,,,,,this is not Christianity.Apostle Paul and Peter will be really disappointed in Nigeria Christianity.

Assuming the church built this school with her money,it will be better. But members were tasked, asked to sow seed, paid tithe, fasted, gave all they have, and was promised blessing. Only to discover that none of their ward can afford going to the school. It's a pity that the church today is not the same church the missionaries brought to us.

That really shows that it is very expensive to run a University so no blames to Papa Oyedepo. All we need to do is praying for God's blessings.

How many church members get those scholarships apart from there pastors family?

Let's stop all this hypocrisy abeg... Have you ever opened a nursery before?? If it were about profit what would you say about American university? Most of these fees are the only reasons why those schools haven't closed down. I was also once a sceptic concerning this, until I realized that the schools wouldn't have been able to maintain those standards if they had the same fees with government unis.. Cos after the building which y'all are talking about that was built with tithes and offerings (which isn't completely true BTW) they have to do the harder task - RUN the school.. *think*

Which strong point?? the bigger picture you guys have refused to see is that people don't feel secure sending their children to higher institutions to become cultists and prostitutes etc.. There's a bit more control over their influences and conduct when they're in these institutions. That's what they're there for! To help them maintain their faith as students, and still give quality, well facilitated education.. charity isn't the only way of evangelism... if you really wanna "evangelise" like it's so easy, start a business and give out everything for half the cost price or even for free and make no profit at all, then see how long you're going to carry on

A church is non profitable, charitable organisation, so what happens when a member of a non profitable organisation contribute to a project and it is not serving the purpose of the organisation.

Your link has nothing to proof than to support my assertion. All the scholarship and Discount is for pastors family and the university staff.what happen to the common church member? they are scammed of there offering or what?

You are absolutely wrong. There's no free quality education anywhere in the world. Someone or some people are paying for it. If only you knew the running cost of standard universities in Nigeria, you would understand that no church no matter how rich they are, is buoyant enough to provide quality university education in Nigeria at no or low tuition fees. The best they can do is to come up with scholarship schemes for their own members or individuals they adopted through mission works. And I think Pastor Kumuyi would be thinking along this line.
