youseuph: Have you tried using the Crs calculator to see your points, am assuming your wife is younger she might be a better principal applicant, why not gave her document evaluated, and both of you sit for Ilets ASAP. if she is not above 30 yet with 3 years experience I would advice you hold on for the EE and put effort in getting ilets done with good scores. 1 Like |

Good evening everyone, Please can I pay for my ECA with IQAS using naira master card. Is there anyone who has done this before? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by youseuph(m): 6:49pm On Jan 09, 2017 |
Pinkygrace: Whao! You have really made my day. Will do exactly that. My wife is 27, with 3yrs experience and has an Msc degree in pharmaceutics. We will try and prepare for ielts and get her docs evaluated. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Pinkygrace(f): 8:04pm On Jan 09, 2017 |
youseuph: If her experience is as a Rxcist then evaluate only her B.pharm with PEBC, that gives same point as MSC, and you both should aim for a score of at least 8777 in LRSW in your ilets and you should be able to hit 470points and with that U can get an ITA. 1 Like |

Bimpsy99: Somebody in Canada paid for me and I gave the family the Nigeria Naira equivalent here. You can do the same or get a Dom account, buy dollar from the black market, pay it into the account and use your dollar master card to make the WES payment. 1 Like |

You can get a sworn affidavit for change of name from the High Court with her passport attached and duly signed and stamped. That will suffix. judithidoghogm: |

From my observation about SINP EE and OID application is the fact that one should be aware of the time when the province start accepting applications and one is able to submit successfully with an application ID. its all about consistent follow up on the site, right timing and a bit of luck. My assumption is if one can submit SINP EE when open with the right application forms and all other required prerequisites are met then once is half way done and successful submission of the application can be considered a milestone in the application process. This is my opinion and am open to further advice. However, anyone with an idea on when SINP EE will open again based on last year's trend. |

Hi All, I have read through a lot of informative and instructive write-ups here. However, my question goes thus: how do I improve my EE CRS score without a PNP. It is currently 416. I got an average of 8 in ielts, with over 10yrs experience, BSc and Masters. Thanks in anticipation of ure advice.... |

Congrats on ITA. It would help the thread and other hopefuls if you shed more light on your EE profile and journey thus far.....such as what occupation you applied under, how your degrees got assessed, number of attempts at ielts and scores, any challenges faced thus far and tips for helping others scale through. alt3r3g0: |

How long did it take you to evaluate your b pharm with pebc? With your wife as PA, ECA for b pharm and 8,7,7,7 from both of you for ielts, your crs would be about 472 just as pinky advised earlier. The other option is for you to evaluate her msc alone, claim points for that as well as her ielts with you as PA. Your crs would be 457. The first option is obviously the better choice. youseuph: |

vcole: Seconded @bolded. I notice that the "silent" followers/readers of this thread and other immigration threads seem to have made more progress than active members. It would be nice if they too can be sharing their challenges and useful tips with us. IMHO, it is one way that they can give back to this community. Looping: Alt3r3g0 2 Likes |

40manlappy: Since Wifey got the ITA, will focus on hers. She has a first degree and is a chartered accountant with ACCA. As at the time we applied around June last year, she had four years working experience and was 29 years old. She applied under 0 Noc. Ielts score was L8.5 R8.0 S7.5 W8.0 We used Wes for ECA. When we first applied, we did not add the ACCA, points were about 430-440, then we made some enquiries and found we could add that one as well. So we paid for an accreditation upgrade from WES and that qualified as another barchelors degree. We then updated the profile to two or more degrees and that pushed it to 473 points. After her birthday, 5 points were automatically deducted to 468. With the new rules of work now counting for max of 200 points or 50, points now enough to get us the ITA. IELTS was one attempt. Tips for those preping for ielts, practice makes perfect. There are many good sites for the listening test. Ieltsliz etc. I believe this is the most tricky because they do not replay the tape. So endeavor not to get lost. I got a 9 in this area. For the writing, practice your writing, we are in a digital world and get to type more than we write these days. When we do write its just to scribble a few notes . Had my lowest score here but no need to retake as it was above the minimum of 6. All the best. NB: We did not pay any agent. Sourced every info online. Keeping tabs with Attorney David Cohen's news letters. @ vcole: may have some que for you as you already ahead on the ITA process. 5 Likes |

Hi, Am having a bit of difficulty with the iqas checklist and would appreciate if I could be pointed in the right direction as I suspect that am misinterpreting the instruction. Thanks From the image above the blue boxes allows me to type into it. Photocopy of the Degree/Diploma (name in the original language): Does this refer to the name on the degree or the name of the awarded degree? Also Photocopy of transcripts/statement of marks:, Transcripts (mark sheets, grade reports) issued by: appears twice on the checklist. Should i just ignore it as I only have a Bsc Degree? Thank you |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by vcole: 11:40am On Jan 11, 2017 |
If you are only evaluating one degree then you only tick one. I think you should only tick d first and third items on this list. The transcript is to be sent by the school directly to iqas. If your degree is in english, then that 4th column about original language does not apply to you seeing as you didn't translate your degree from another language to english. xij38580: |

Yes ma. If u have aa Domiciliary account, you can fund it and apply for a debit card. If you don't like me , I got someone that has a Domiciliary account and a debit card for it and I paid about 215 usd and it paid for the IQAS Assessment and the commission that was charged. I hope this helps. gbemmy777: |
