Happy Sunday everybody! @Tadelov I'm waiting for you oh. I know mine will receive attention after yours. Everyday I pop in here to see if you've dropped the good news that you've picked up your visa. Lol @ "God forbid oo!". Abeg ihs refund is not our portion IJN. I tracked my application last week Wednesday. UKVI replied via email saying my application is yet to be assessed by an ECO. I'll track again in a weeks time, that should be this coming Wednesday. I also occasionally check my bank account to see if there's been an ihs refund. Agonizing wait. Goodluck to us all! |

Hello good people of this forum been reading through this thread lots of good information thanks to the seniors, you guys are doing a wonderful job.my question my husband is a british citizen and works with and agency now for 7 month on a non salaried basis.this agency has two outlet in different locations and my husband works in both location with the salary in both location paid differently and different times into the same account by this agency.Tn one of this location the salary is paid every 2 weeks about 600 and the other location the salary is paid monthly about 1200. all totaling 1800 paid by the agency every month into my spouse account. and he as been doing this for 7months now my question is a. since is a non salaried employment are we qualify to apply under the 6 month window b. he does not have a contract of employment can he request for it Accomodation presently he stays in an apartment where he pays around 450 monthly all bills inclusive.but was not given a tenancy agreement which is one of the requirement how can we get the tenancy agreement or is there any alternative apart fro tenancy agreeement and will also like to know what other document required Thank answer i will appreciate |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Lexusgs430: 6:21pm On Jan 09, 2017 |
Tsuprisee: (1) What's his total earned wage in 6 months? (2) He requires a contract of employment (strange that a uk employer, does not offer a contract of employment (even if it's zero hours contract). A contract of employment must still be issued (3) A tenancy agreement is required to apply for a spousal visa. He needs to request for a tenancy agreement (if he legally rented his apartment). NB: No tenancy agreement, No contract of employment + total earned wage (in 6 months) ? Lots of work still required to submit a successful application........... |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Tsuprisee: 6:55pm On Jan 09, 2017 |
thanks lexusgs a. said he will request for the contract of employment from is employer he works in care sector just did a month training then and started working b. the total for six month with 1800 * 6 month =10800 c. its a two bed room he is occupying one of the room but is friend is the one that paid so his friend most have gotten the tenancy agreement, but dont know if he can use it or it has to be in his own name Lexusgs430: |
Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Lexusgs430: 9:25pm On Jan 09, 2017 |
Tsuprisee: (1)Care companies issue engagement of services contracts (2) His present status without a tenancy agreement, just seems like a squatter. His best option, is to speak to his friend to get the estate agent issue a joint tenancy agreement (a property inspection certificate would be required) or rent a new apartment. (3) His wages qualifies you for a spousal visa application, but other prerequisites required. |

Lexusgs430: 1). An alternative to contract of employment is to get a letter from the employer, written on company letter headed paper, stamped and signed by a senior mgt staff e.g manager. Details to include: employee's name, start date, position, the employment type, gross income, confirmation that payslip and p60 was issued by the company. 2). An alternative to tenancy agreement is a letter from land lord confirming that your husband lives at the property. The letter should state the property type e.g two bedroom flat with a living room. They should confirm that they are happy for you to stay there. Also as your husband shares the flat, he needs to get a supporting letter from the occupant, confirming that s/he is happy for you to stay there. I uploaded the PDF of these in the past pages if I can remember. My laptop is misbehaving now and needs some technical touches,I would have uploaded it. Send an email to g_guis@yahoo.com I will forward the PDF to you from my email. |

Morning my people. I got a Tier 2 job in the NHS and have been requested to get a police clearance certificate (certificate of good conduct). Has anyone done this or have an idea of how to go about it within the UK? Have been calling the Nigeria Embassy in London to ask for procedure on how to go about but no response from them. I have booked an appointment with Scotland Yard (Met Police) but I don't know if I need to go to the Nigeria Embassy before going for thumb-printing at Scotland Yard. Your responses will be highly appreciated NB: I am currently in the UK on Tier 4 visa |
