ariesbull:The dude is a confused jack. He keeps going back and fort without definite direction or position. Its a known fact that the Aniomas are western Igbos that got mix up with Benin, Igala and even Yoruba migrant, the case of Ogbodu - Olukumi - comes to mind. I once met an Ogodu guy in Awka sometime last year on project. He told me clearly his people migrated from Ondo, but are currently in Delta like century ago. He is bilingual, both in his native Delta Igbo and the very distant Yoruba he speaks. So you could see that this guys retain their language and also adopted the Igbo language because of lasting interaction. In conclusion, you can succinctly say that Anioma is mixture of different ethnic group, but with Igbos having the majority due early migration patter and aboriginal right. The Igbos were already well settled in Western Side of the Niger before this new wave of migrant from the West trouped in. This is why the Igbo language, culture, names and tradition prevailed over the rest, because onye we' ali is a complete diali. This is my opinion. 1 Like |

blues20:90% of Anioma migratory stories traces their origin to Bini. All your talks of aborigine is mere speculation and concoction. I never seen anybody bring out solid prove to igbo aborigines in Anioma area. All the oldest Anioma kingdoms said they came from Bini. So you want to tell me Anioma people don't know where their founders come from? 3 Likes 1 Share |

ianSweet: The people of Igala are not his prisoners and they have a voice. We will be very persuasive on that issue at the right time. We are not leaving the Igala's behind unless they choose to stay behind. I personally think, going with the SS/SE is the better option if Nigeria continues the way it is. I mean did u see wat happened in Kaduna? How long before the Christians in Igala face similar? They even had the guts to try it in Enugu recently. |

ianSweet: Well, the entire middlebelt is gradually being islamised. The question u ask urself is after that, will their be peace, as it is in the middle east? The second thing is that, Igbo has more reason not to trust the middle-belt and some SS minorities. The Middle Belt and SS have no reason not to trust the igbos. As for the fear of uncertainty, once igbo exit with or without the middle-belt and ss, ur matters will get worst, then u guys will understand the true meaning of domination at the hands of the North supported by the South west. Thirdly, we are not after the middle-belt, we have select those we share culture and religion with and not the entire middle-belt. Yes the Igala and Idoma are the lucky ones. Maybe the Ebira too. I hope they request to join as they are not included. Fourthly, their is no history of igbo dominating anybody. Actually it is the other way round and a major propaganda used to divide the SE during the Biafra war. The ijaw and middle belt have apologized for their errors and we have forgiven them and even invited two middle belt groups to Biafra. http://thebridgenetworkonline.com/they-tricked-us-into-fighting-igbos-during-civil-war-middle-belt-group/ “They Tricked Us Into Fighting Igbos During Civil War” – Middle Belt Group |

ianSweet: Interesting? Kwararafa conquered Igala? I would have thought, it would be the big bad igbos. lmao Do u know igbos have never conquered any tribe in its history? That is y i dont know where u people get this igbo fear from. Nri kingdom was spiritual not military. it did not have army. Take for instance Igala in Enugu and Anambra, as tiny as they are, nobody conquered them. Igbos see them as their own. Point of correction Igala and yoruba languages are not similar, that is a lie. Yorubas go around claiming every tribe, u need to be aware of this. Even the Ebira they claim and that was y i posted that video. If truily the Ebira migrated from the Eastern part to the west, from the way their language is sounding igbo, i am convinced that they might be igbo migrants to the west. Igala language is similar to Idoma becos the languages were influenced by the same groups, of which igbo is one, but I dont know the other groups at the other end of the northern border. As for the Hausa/fulani migrant, that is normal, thank ur God dey did not insist that u speak Hausa. Igbos are not too keen on the language u speak anyway, we are more interested on wat we can accomplish together. We have igbos in Rivers that still answer Igbo names but have lost the igbo language due to mixing. They are the Ikwere. As for the kwararafa thing, the kingdom is dead and gone and they are not indigenous to Igala, so u guys have to claim ur identity back and that is y u should join the SS/SE to reconnect with ur igbo roots. |

RedboneSmith: I have better things to do than engage in the crap ur saying. A group that Yoruba dont even share a border with. Ebira that yoruba share a border with, are almost speaking igbo and answering igbo names. I hope u know Mercy Johnson name is Ozioma? She is Ebira. |
Re: 23 Year Old : Obi Nduka Ezeagwuna II Crowned 20th Obi Of Issele-uku - Pictures by RedboneSmith(m): 9:30pm On Jan 10, 2017 |
hammerF: What do you mean 'u share border with'? I am not Yoruba. If you want to know what Yoruba and Igala languages actually are like, I can send you materials to read for yourself. Coming to Ozioma, the name doesn't mean 'Good news' in Ebira, the similarity in sound is coincidental. Does Yoruba share bother with Olukumi in Aniocha. Even the Itsekiri are seperated from mainstrean Yoruba by some Ijaw groups. Yet they speak Yoruboid languages. 3 Likes |

RedboneSmith: Dude, i research these things and i know wat am saying. Okun in Kogi are yoruba but a yoruba person might not even understand everything they say becos the language changed abit. Igala are not yorubas or related to yorubas or share borders with yorubas. Not even their names or culture is yoruba. |

RedboneSmith: Itsekiri and Olukumi are very bad examples. Let me ask u? How did Olukumi or wateva u call them get into Anioma? That is very suspicious. As for the Itsekiri, they are Ijaw mixed with yoruba and that is y u get Ijaw groups separating them from mainstream yoruba. I hope u understand the difference between these scenario and the Igala. Igala is not a yoruboid language, that is certain. They are not mixed with yoruba. |

Cire80:Akuko uwa You that claim to be an Ika has failed to prove to everyone here how proud of an Ika are you...moreover I've never claimed to be Ika... So I wonder where the tag "impostor" is coming from...maybe you really are the impostor afterall its not the first time am seeing Bini claim to be Ika, and probably it'd not be the last, but I assure you that true Ikas with the support of the other Anioma sons like me and the wider Igbo community would always crush your likes Moreover I don't deal on emotions... I deal with reality |

hammerF: What are you talking about here, please? How is it related to what I am saying? I was talking about languages, you are telling me about mix and non-mix. How's that relevant? Olukumi is a Yoruboid language seperated from mainland Yoruba by both Aniocha and Edoid groups . Itsekiri is a Yoruboid language seperated from mainland Yorubaland by Ijaw groups. The same as Igala which is also a Yoruboid language seperated from mainstream Yoruba by Ebira groups. That is the thrust of the gist. Not mixed and non-mixed. |
