remove it and see if the problem persists, if it doesn't, then it's definitely the tempered glass, which I very much doubt

Your phone na oba of heating grin grin shebi na rn3 pro?

How many apps have you installed since you changed the tp? Like someone said, remove the tp. If it still heats up, backup your data, connect to a WiFi, update to Marshmallow and do a factory reset.

Nope, still lollipop, if data is not an issue you can update twice because immediately after this update you'll get the marshmallow update, otherwise download manually from miui and update.

Baba don't update to this ROM o. I'm experiencing and elevated battery drain on it.
I'd advice you goto MIUI download site and download the MM recovery rom and update your device with or use the Fastboot rom.
Attached is my SOT

Do a factory reset. Battery drain is still present on MM rom, although not as in the previous version. The best thing was not to have updated to miu 8

MM recovery is the marshmallow update file version 8.1.1.0. You can update to 8.0.6.0 then to 8.1.1.0 via OTA, or just download the file for 8.1.1.0 and put it in your SD card to update.
