Dear Sisters and brothers on this forum, please i need your advise badly. For those whose mothers or mother in law have had to apply for visa to be with them at childbirth, is it advisable they apply before or after their daughter's arrival to the US. I am just afraid of stories that touch the heart (visa being cancelled etc), on the other hand, i want to apply earlier enough so we can go together. Please help !!! |

1. Do you have a visa? 2. If yes, have you used it for the purpose, you applied and obtained it. 3. If yes, no need for any letter. papi7: |

Maymum:The important issue here is if you mentioned you were pregnant during the visa Interview? If yet, then your mother inlaw can apply anytime,if not then wait till after you are in the US before she applies |
