You should demand for refund of your money from him for such an ignominious mistake and probably sue him for the emotional trauma you are facing for it. Too bad Na 9ja we dey. Things like that dey hard to work here. All the best dear. 1 Like |

biiibi:Good a thing you found this thread and will now be better informed if u patiently read through previous post and ask questions when you need to. It's hard already to get a refusal in such situation but you can only look ahead now. Meanwhile, you may want to share your profile before you reapply again so guyz here can make input and help you if necessary. |

I don't think her app need anything correct again, she was delayed cos she didn't respond to medical mail on time, aside that, all other documents are very perfect. Austinpee4: |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Austinpee4: 10:49pm On Jan 11, 2017 |
penitential:Well, like we have seen on this thread, medical mails are never guarantee to a study permit approval. It only shows a preliminary review has been made and not a final decision. Study permit applications are still refused after medicals for various reasons even the almighty 'PURPOSE OF VISIT'. Besides, i don't think she shared all she submitted with her app so you may not know for sure that it was "PERFECT" Also, i used 'if necessary'.Possible her application was just perfect in the first submission. 1 Like |

Futurewiser: I wish I have an answer to that ur question sir...cos a lot of factors are into play when admission officer review applications... Ur CGPA :If it's a first class..first class applicant hardly get denied admission. 2:1 could get dropped especially when it's not a strong 2:1 like 3.5 range and without strong relevant work experience because the competition is tougher and a lot of 2:1 applicants are available to choose from. Sometimes u'll meet all criteria but u just probably ddnt apply on time and they've already filled up quota for the session even though admissions deadline isn't up yet. So In summary, admission leniency Isn't sometimes school specific but also candidates qualification, timing of application, ability to write a compelling personal statement..and so on |

@Austinpee, this is the post that made me believe her app doc was perfect. If not, other reasons would have been marked. And also for the embassy to send medical mail, the applicant stand a very good chance of getting TRV approval, cos V.Os most times go through documents submitted and if satisfied, request for medical result. some of the refusal letter after medical call (not front loaded) are based on the medical results. Note- if the supporting docs are not convincing enough, they (V.Os) won't send medical mail before refusing such app. biiibi: |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by tplacid: 11:20pm On Jan 11, 2017 |
tplacid: Those were the reason for my refusal. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Austinpee4: 11:29pm On Jan 11, 2017 |
penitential:Alright bro. For the benefit of those reading now or later, The bold was the case in previous times but NOT anymore.Pls note, Study permits are now still refused after medical mails and sometimes after medical passed. This could be for various reasons or as a result of a new information concerning your application. All you should do is to stay positive throughout the different stages of your application till a final decision is made.CIC processes and procedures are very unpredictable. 2 Likes |

Resumption Alert!!!! I have sounded this before.... Most schools in Canada for winter (January) intake have announced a deadline of 13th January for students to resume or forfeit their slots. The implication is that you need a new offer (deferred intake) to present at the PoE!!! There are students whose approval came late and passports are just being received.... I have earlier advised that you make travel plans and let the only document holding you be the passport being awaited!!!! I have people the airport as I write this.. looking for flights (i hope they will share their experience later)... Even the flight contact I gave them could only get business class and are compelled to take. Pls be wise... act promptly... take useful advises!! 3 Likes |

tplacid: Bro I'm really so sorry for your refusal. I'm sure you don't have to wonder too much on the reason. I will advice you get a course closer to economics or just go for economics masters to be on a safer side. The vo has obviously doubted all your job experience in HRM but rather decided to state those reasons. God bless you bro. |

Hello Good morning to the house, I woke up to see this mail starring at me, though I sent a message using the online platform after my application passed the initial 14weeks processing time, starting from September 21, I think is even upto 17weeks now Base on the current processing time. Anyway have differed my admission till May, I's it still okay to send the Accra Vo a message or I should just wait? No medical call up since, the only mail I got was December 14 to upload my education certificate up till now nothing else. 1 Share

Futurewiser: I hope dis my response does nt offend anyone's intention Anywaiz bro, if u are going for Masters in Com Sci, I tink u v alot of schs u can work into easily. Please check this schools below and start processing your admission asap Memorial University Manitoba University University of Victoria University of Newbrunswick Ontario University Institute of Technology and many more, the list is endless, bcus over 70% of canadia schs have com sci and the application process is straightforward... If your CGPA is not very high, your best choices might be... Memorial University Ontario University Institute of Texhnology If you want full funding tru thesis based and you wont like to contact a supervisor or submit Ielts score..then your best shot is University of Western Ontario, note u must have good CGPA... If you have an Ielts score but want a school you wont have to contact supervisor fir thesis based. Then go for University of Saskatchewan However, if you want to go for coursebased Masters, you dont have to contact a supervisor and you can apply to all the schools listed above except University of Saskatchewan The application process for all this schs and many more is very easy and you really need no help, but if u are stuck you can always come back here..Best of luck 12 Likes 3 Shares |

Good morning all. I am about applying for aa Canada study permit and I need your help in getting it right. I am naming my husband as sponsor who will be funding the postgraduate programme via a loan he applied for in his office. My application will be sent in this month and d loan will be paid into his salary account this month as well. Will this affect my application? Considering d statement will read d said amount as lodgment. I will be attaching his letter of request for the loan and also the approval. Will these help? Please advise. |
