I'm using firefox as well... The list was pre-filled when I got there and theres basically nothing to add. Clicked on 'yes' that all was ok and still says 'in progress'. JUst tried it again now...

What browser are you using? I used firefox. Also when filling what you were doing for the last 10 years, if unemployed, fill not applicable for name of company. Dont leave any slots blank. That was the part i had issues with.

This is normal. Happens 24hours after you received ITA/accepted it.

Check properly.
Make sure you have filled in each sub section. You can click on check for completeness, it will identify what needs to be done.

All the best!

Thanks beyunce... I did check. Seems they insist on adding personal details. I will and try again.

@vcole and others; Do we have to upload academic transcripts? Getting mine would be one hell of a task.

Cross check your dates and information. Ensure that there are no gaps at all.
boldinc:
vcole, dupyshoo... rest of experienced ITA team.

Been tryna fill the form and the 'personal history' form for primary candidate keeps showing 'in progress' even after I have completely filled it.

That's the only part awaiting now. Ever experienced this?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by vcole: 9:48am On Jan 13, 2017

Congrats. pls share your timeline.
its his brother and not his child so to the best of my knowledge, he cannot claim him as a dependant child. This looks more to me like a dependant that can be sponsored under "family class" I suggest you read more about family class sponsorship on the cic website.

Hello everyone,

Big congrats to everyone who got their ITA yesterday! I finally got mine too! grin

Please I have a question, i don't know if anyone can help me shed a light on this situation.
My husband has a younger brother (8 yrs old) that he has been taking care of for about 5 years now, even though their father is still alive and mother is deceased, but he (the father) has signed a sworn affidavit (Consent of custody) with the High Court releasing all responsibilities of the brother (food, clothing, shelter, schooling, etc) to my husband. Can we claim his brother as a dependent child when filling the forms on PR? or can we only claim our birth children? There was a space where we were asked how many children we had, and we don't know if we can include him since we already see him as our child.

Kindly help to clarify please.

God bless.

I am guessing you have also reviewed the prefilled ones. Just click on modify and ensure there is nothing left to add.

In the education segment, though prefilled, had to add ECA rating.

Also always use the next button to move to the next stage rather than clicking on it directly. That way if a side is remaining it will show an error message at the top of the screen pointing out the lacking place. If this is not done it will be assumed you want to save and continue later.

Hope this helps.

I did actually... But what I noticed just now is that the details must be continuous in the last 10 years... so no gaps in between... Not even one month apart. Crossed that road now.

vcole, dupyshoo... If I click continue after filling the form, can I always go back to edit? or I wait till I am absolutely sure... Cos I'm eager to see the checklist for documents.

Thanks

Yes, you can always go back to edit your profile. In fact, you can even decide to start all over if you want.

Kudos for solving your issue.

Yeah you can always go back if its just to see the docs and upload.

Yes, don't put BSc. under education if you did not evaluate your BSc. If you do, you will be asked to submit ECA number for it.

You should however put it under personal history to avoid misrepresentation.

I think you might have to fully adopt him before you can claim he is your child.

You should list all your degrees. However it will ask you for each one if you have an eca for it. So, if you have an eca for your msc you fill yes. If you don't have an eca for your bsc you fill no.

She can fill the details of her bsc and tick that there is no eca for it. It won't generate a slot for that if she does. I think this is what i did for my husband's bsc if i'm not mistaken.

@vcole, please while doing your SVA with MCC, did you send your transcript or just certified forms. And please who did your notarized copy for you, HIGH COURT, LAWYER, COMMISSIONER OF OATH?
