DMLords:Imagine what your community said about Jesus. Just forget that you are Christians because you are not. All the Christians that were killed and thrown to lions and burnt or sworn alive in the times of the apostles and even nailed to the cross, you mean they don't have families? So when Jesus died for you, he didn't have a mother and human family members he was concerned about? YOU DON'T NEED TO REFER TO CHRISTIANITY TO DO WHATEVER YOU PREFER TO DO. JUST DO IT AND FACE THE CONSEQUENCES ALONE. Being in southern Kaduna doesn't make any of you Christians. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I know I'm not a perfect Christian, I have my flaws but... The comments I'm reading here coupled with the overwhelming support for these comments make me think we are in the endtime. I actually can't believe people who call themselves Christians would choose to follow the teachings of Bishop oyedepo to the teaching of Christ, Christians have become followers of men instead of followers of Jesus Christ Tonyebarcanista, thank you for reminding us of what is expected of a true Christian 3 Likes |

PMIcon: You now see your double standarded. You wrote earlier that the attacked or to be attacked communitiez should pray with faith and then call the police. Now you turn arround to promote laws of the land in the case of judgements given in law courtsu. Do you not know that right to self-defense is also part of the laws of the land? So to you, it is ok for a judge to sentence somebody to death but communities attacked should not resort to self defense even when both are backed by.the law? Where do you think that communities and streets that organise vigilante get their backing? From the law? Yes. Please let us not turn to hypocrites because of this. |

Barcanista, I disagree with you on this a billion times over. Buhari was never called to order when he threatened violence should he lose. Like wise Nasir El-rufai and Alhaji Lawal Kaita and a host of other prominent Northern Muslims. In fact, you know what? Enough of turning the other cheek. We've got to defend ourselves 1 Like |

This write up is hugely laughable and ludicrous. When government has failed in its major responsibility to protect her citizens? We've had enough inciting statements, but this obviously explains how it could be fire for fire when a lame government wants a genocide. The southern Kaduna people need more courage to fight this evil herdsmen to standstill. Until the government is alive to its responsibilities, statements like this would endlessly go on. 1 Like |

I seriously wonder if the so called Christians are really Christians. The person is right, what Bishop oyedepo said completely goes against the principle and doctrine of Christianity and the damage it can cause coming from a renowned and influential pastor like him can be Catastrophic. You only knows the beginning of a war, most time you dont know the end. 1 Like 1 Share |

IT'S TIME TO BUY GUNS AND CUTLASSES. It's time that we Christian's need to act not just prayer alone. Just last week Sunday a pastor friend who live in Kaduna call me and was crying over the phone. He sent me pictures of another pastor church, who was having service on Sunday and how over six hundred mumber's was kill inside the church when service was going on. It pain me so much that many Christian's don't understand the scriptures. How can men kill over four thausand Christian is Kaduna, and we Christian's aren't doings anything about it. All we do is to pray, keep praying until they kill your family mumber's first before you react. The truth is that we need to defend ourselves. It's time to buy guns and cutlasses. Hear that Jesus has to said. Luke 22:35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. 22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. 22:37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end. 22:38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough. HE THAT HAS NO SWORD, LET HIM BUY ONE. Jesus didn't say let him pray for one but let him buy one, If Christian's don't defend themselves, they will soon be no Christianity in Nigeria. What stop the killing of Christian's during the Romans Empire is not just prayer but when the Christian's act by defending themselves. 1 Like |

Have you called El Rufai to order 4 d killing of hundreds of Christians under his watch? Have you called Buhari to order 4 his late and week response? Have you called the Government of Jigawa State to order 4 destruction of churches under the guise of no construction approval? You bloody bastard. I pray that jihadist ambush your family so that you can feel the pain of their other victims. Let us see if you will maintain your hypocritical stance. Mumu person |

TonyeBarcanista:My brother, this us one of your finest pieces, if not the finest, to date. Ignore those ignorant little ipob kids who live, breathe and promote hate. How does a "man of God" make such a statement, a call to KILL, and people still fimd propriety in such a call? Were this to have come from a Muslim cleric would they be saying the same thing? Has Oyedepo given his zealots any brochure or catalog that defines the appearance of a boko haram member to have called people to "kill anyone who looks like them"? If the blood of an innocent man is spilled as a result of this, is he ready to take responsibility for it? Oyedepo goofed big time on this and unfortunately, he cannot undo it. By the way, isnt it funny how those who hate everything yoruba and scream afonja all day on the forum are the ones licking oyedepos butthole right now? |

I think it is high time the moderator ban and chain this little Tony of a boy. You come here to look for cheap popularity, to impress who. Isn't it inciteful enough for the Sultan and other northern elders to call for the arrest of our respected Christian leaders in the country for voicing against what happened in southern kaduna. When did it become crime for Christians to defend themselves. About 808 Christians were killed not one person has been brought to book. And one Tony of a boy, the SANBALLAT OF NAIRA LAND AND HIS TOBIAH BROTHERS IN THE NORTH ARE HERE SAYING NONSENSE. BE WARNED. AND PLEASE GO GET CURED OF YOUR SICKNESS. KahlDrogo:Lol someone even called me "Afonja" If you investigate properly, those in support of Oyedepo are those that celebrates each time pipeline is blown by NDA and those that are keen apostles of Kanu. Same people calling some people of Islam faith "fanatics" are the same people hailing this ridiculous doctrine by the "Bishop". He even said he can command rain not to fall for 3 days, LOL! Though we are in dry season anyway. Like you said, what if it was said by a Muslim cleric? 1 Like |

Xzbit91:These arent Christians, they are simply using the crisis as a smokescrean to vent their frustrations and anger over the loss of their oreferred candidate in an election. Dont be surprised ,99.9% of those in agreement with the so called man of god come from a "particular region" of the country, a region that hates yorubas with passion because they think yorubas were instrumental to jonathan's defeat; but thw funny thing is oyedepo is yoruba. The bond that binds them together and binds them with outsiders is hatred for Buhari and Muslims; which also explains why they like Trump. 1 Like |

So, you expect christians to fold their arms and be treated like a second class citizens in the nation we all call ours, you people must be joking all of us will not fold our arms, we are no fools neither a coward. This singular statement will surely sends sensible signal to whoever, christians are sensible and calculative we will surely treat their fuckup. |

I just watched the scary video of Living Faith Church's Pastor David Oyedepo, declaring the Muslim as enemy, the North as born-to-rule habitat of "Islamic demons" and advocating immediate breakup of Nigeria. I don't know much about this dangerous man aside from the video of him, not long ago, slapping a church member for saying she's a "witch for Jesus." But the content of this hate-promoting video should rattle our intelligence-gathering agencies. I've never seen a slowpoke so passionately cheered up in a televised sermon, and obviously so loved. If we don't pass a legislation against hateful public preaching as Oyedepo's, and begin to have all our religious leaders punished for their transgressions, we may just be waiting for a full-blown religious war. 4 Likes 3 Shares |

Codes151: Do you think religious demagoguery is the solution to those "frustrations"? Martin Luther King Jr said you can't conquer darkness with darkness, you can't fight hate with hate...Are Muslims not frustrated with the devastation caused by terrorism? Whatever may be your perceived frustrations, as a leader, you should not incite hatred against any ethnic and religious group because of the actions of a few criminals among. It is irresponsible and reckless for leaders to abuse their privileges by promoting hate speech which result in active open conflicts and destruction. 1 Like |

TonyeBarcanista:The man is ni different than tb joshua, and his tirade has got to be one of the most disgusting ive heard from a supposed christian leader; i get this gut feeling he's even worse than ffk. Imagine his saying "must a northerner be president"? And i ask, must it be a southerner? He isnt getting the vip treatment he used to in Aso rock no more and that explains his frustration. If oyedepo wants people to cut off the heads of people who "look like boko haram", he should arm his wife and children and have them do the deed, after all, they are closest to him and pretty much reachable. As regards the bombing, did you see how mute they were on the Enugu pipeline bombing thread? Had that taken place in the niger delta, the forum couldnt have contained their ecstasy, but since it happened in their region, they had reservations for it, even though the militants claimed they did it for nnamdi kanu. Yet they call ndeltans their "brothers". These guys are sick. 1 Like |
