scoobs: Well, I requested for exemption but was told that my undergraduate course is not related to the course content...that was why I wasn't granted any exemptions. |

Do you know the cost of MBA in a top school? Who is willing to part with USD100,000 just because of one MBA when a professional examination will add more value? I do not agree that the school is siphoning any money from international students. It depends on whether your UG course is related to what you will be doing. In fact, MBA in University of Toronto (almost USD100k tuition) is also 2 years. As far as I am concerned, the prelim course is valid, as it forms the foundation for the more advanced concepts in the second year. |

I would like to help a friend of mine get an invitation from a relation who lives in Canada. He just needs the invitation letter to support his other documents. My question is, is it possible to use the information like PR card details on the letter to perpetuate crime like fraud? I'm not insinuating that my friend is fraudulent as anybody can stumble on the document. I just don't want to be at loggerhead with my family. I want to play it safe with my family. Thanks for all your contributions. Well done |

Hello house, Just for clarity. What happens when you defer an application from January to September 2017, having made a visa application since September prior year which is still being processed. Does the embassy automatically request a new admission letter or only needed for point of entry into canada? And also, when does the visa start counting from. Surely if is issued from let say February, it can't start count from February all the way to September even before course start date. Thanks. |

Hello house! Happy new year to all in this forum. I have gone tru this thread and found out that Progress is not just a mere word from the dictionary. It's been over 7yrs I came here last after being rejected for visit visa 2007- study visa 2012 respectively. Since then I have changed a new passport with about 5 diff visit visa Malay, Indonesia, Dubai, SA, China. Now I am coming back with Gingantic force to take what rightfully belongs to me "Canada Visa". It question, will I have to put on my application form that I have applied before or not knowing fully well that I did biometrics at vfs at that time. Thank you to whoever that will advise on this. 1 Like |

paulchuks: Say the truth in your application, they keep records. Most importantly ensure you have addressed all the concerns that were raised by the VO's in the 2 previous rejected applications, attach photocopies of all visa stamp pages from your old passports even if you are applying with a fresh passport... Cheers. 2 Likes |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by dreeyy: 11:07am On Jan 14, 2017 |
paulchuks: Just present the same info you presented in your previous applications EXCEPT for those situations that have CHANGED. And take note that RIGHT choice of program, convincing SOP with good SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS will get you your visa and NOT much about your TRAVEL HISTORY. 2 Likes |

heniola: After getting two masters already, it is advisable you opt for a PhD. Though the admission process may be challenging but it would all worth it at the end of the day. Going for a PhD gives you more opportunity to get funding and a good edge for visa approval. |
