Computer science. Post graduate. 4.34.

Your GP is high enough and I think Carleton is less competitive.
Before you apply for another, please take your time to review the profile you submitted to Carleton.
Like how fantastic was your SOP if required?
was supervisor needed and you had one?
Did you get recommendation letter from the right persons- your UG supervisor included? Etc.

After your profile review and ready to apply to other schools, please ensure you apply to like three schools, if not more, this time.

Good day. The organization I work for stopped pension remittance since June 2016. I want to know if it's safe to attach the pension statement for my Canadian VISA application
Your kind response would be appreciated.
Thank you

Attaching a pension docs can be so good to your application. However, considering you won't be there to explain why it has stopped coming in since June and in order not to cause unnecessary complications in your sop, I would advise you don't include that. Your account statement with pay slip can equally do the job.

Regards

Please I have a few questions, would be glad if anyone can be kind enough to answer.

A computer Science graduate(HND) going for Human Resource Management (PGD level).. would this raise a red flag?

good day all, pls I was denied visa based on insufficient funds, now I want to reapply but this time online application. I want to use my uncle and my cousin(who bears a different surname ) as sponsor and Co sponsor wt my acct too. so my questions are:
1. should I submit all documents I submitted before or just the papers from my sponsor
2. will I do another medicals and biometrics again?
3. do I need to provide another police report, cos the one I used earlier stated an expiry after 3 months.

N. B I submitted my last application 28/10/2016 and was denied 10/01/2017.

There is no cause for alarm jo. My pension statement was till Dec 2015 when i applied in Oct 2016...I changed jobs and my new employer did not remit pension. Your pension is cash and it adds up to your account balance. Attach it bro

Well, I will strongly agree with you that's another angle. One only might want to think twice since what works for one may work against another. God bless.

Hello house,

Just for clarity. What happens when you defer an application from January to September 2017, having made a visa application since September prior year which is still being processed. Does the embassy automatically request a new admission letter or only needed for point of entry into canada? And also, when does the visa start counting from. Surely if is issued from let say February, it can't start count from February all the way to September even before course start date.

Thanks.

Hey guys -been a while. Can see we all are making progress.

I may have information on a potential RA position in health economics/public health that can be used as a masters dissertation component. The ideal candidate should have some experience in health research and statistical analyses.

Wishing everyone the very best

Guru in the house, kindly assist,i submitted my paper application on 28th September, did my biometrics on the same day. However,i tracked my application on line on 11/1/2017,the information i saw on their website was that your processed passport has been despatched from canada embassy in accra to canada application centre lagos.Uptil date i did not get any call for medicals, i called vfs lagos to confirm if my passport has arrived from accra as at yesterday but their response was that i should call on wednesday 18/1/2017 that the passport is still in transit.Kindy enlighten me why i was not called for medicals till date by accra office.thanks
