Hello NL fam
Pls I have 2 questions
In the SOP, must you state your name, address etc during introduction bearing in mind that it would be at d yours sincerely part? Seeing different things online.

Where does one explain gaps? SOP or do u need an extra LOE?

ThankU
1. LoE or SoP are written as official letters; it carries addresses of writer and recipient, date and subject..... Your name will only appear at the close of the document... (After 'yours faithfully')

2. While both names refer to a same document.... You will address gaps under "Academics" or "Employment".... In the body of your letter...LoE or SoP....whichever is applicable to your situation!
Regards

I will advise you re-apply to the same Uwindsor.ca.
Using the same docs you used in the first application will still get you another admission letter, the application fee is what they're really interested in as it generates alot for them.

Note-if you re-apply to another school, you will have to re-apply for visa. (Change in D.L.I)
Kindly shed light on the bolded.... Needs clarification! You may wish to add cic quotes to properly situate this submission pls.

My understanding; a provision has been made to change DLI at your convinience.. "Without the need to apply for another study permit"

Regards

Please check my latest quote with the guy in question. An assumption was made, which has been corrected.

Changing DLi is easy. Infact, you can mail cic for change in DLi after your TRV. I believe you've got your TRV, haven't you? And if you haven't, then it's quite simple.
Wait for your TRV, after your approval, inform cic about the institution changing plan and state the reason. You will be granted.
Also, if you've not gotten TRV, cic may request for new admission letter, the you can CC them (cic) about the school policy of 'no second deferral'.

@unyted
@folaroyal and others
recently i discovered that many trv applicant profile on cic website aint updated and delayed infact the few who got approved got their trv after school resumption deadline while other had to reapply or defer since they couldnt meet up with resumption date even though i am aware that the processing timeframe was extended to 15 to 17 weeks or there about.
What's the way forward out of this problem?
Is there anything we aint doing right?
Am really concerned looking @ the rigors and documentation involved in getting an admission offer?

Hi everyone. Just one quick and urgent questions. For those studying in canada or about to, how do you pay your school fees apart from form A method? Is dormicillary account still possible to send funds to the school, memorial university of newfoundland to be precise. I want to help my brother make his school payment but the form A method is a no go area because you are queued up and iwant a means of payment delivered within a week max
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by penitential(m): 9:44am On Jan 16, 2017
Ask the school for payment options, most schools have account details where you can send money through flywire, western union global pay....Using Dom account still works and it's faster.

SOP's is an essay not a letter per say, all you need is put your name at the top corner, mostly right. what follows is the topic wch is "statement of purpose or personal statement of intent" then follwed by the body of the essay in paragraphs as applicable to you. SOP is not a letter its an essay and essay doesnt carry address(es). Just my opinion.

Your profile is not well-detailed enough.
What do you major in?
Are you presently in Canada?

My bad, Bsc in Computer Science and PGC in Project Management. No I'm not. Would like to apply for Msc computer science or computer programming. Are there schools I could apply to with my profile and get the straight masters?
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by penitential(m): 10:28am On Jan 16, 2017
I will advise you contact admission officers in various universities in canada to know what their admission requirements are, contact supervisors(if research base masters) stating your intention with your L.O.I. and you will advised accordingly.

Ywc.
Note- nobody can confidently tell you if you will offered admission or not, only the school decides that. Also, master's admission is depended on other factors aside C.G.P.A. just do as earlier advised.

Thanks bro

Hi guys I was denied visa in Canada because the VO wasn't convinced I would be able to sustain myself without working as a student. We filled in about 8.8m in account + other assets from my sponsor. I want to reapply against may 2017 any advice would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

To the bolded, I fear that's not all that's contained in your refusal letter. Did you get your caip file? What was ticked inside your refusal letter insufficient fund?

You need to be specific bro, nobody is going to answer your question with this mentality. You have to do some research and tell people here what you have so far.
