Dear Gurus on NL I just received a letter from CIC saying I should explain why I didn't disclose my previous US visa refusal in 2014. The thing is I actually did mention it to my agent before this application was submitted but I guess he forgot or something! My agent is in Canada and we mostly communicate via email so maybe just to say he missed it somewhere in one of our email correspondences. Please guys what do you think I should say or do right now? I need to give him feedback asap so he can explain on my behalf. Thank you in advance for your kind responses. No harsh responses please. Cc: MichV Folaroyal Thesoj Any one that can help me with this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks once again my people. |

rallymento:No.1 and 2 may not mean anything to me but if i reverse to consider no.1,have you got travel history? if you don't,worry not because there is always a 1st time as along as study is involved. the sole issue at hand is ''purpose of visit''! briefly hint out this key diagnosed areas always at hand to either avert future occurrence or an aid for re-application. what is the relationship between your UG/work experience to your intended program? what level have you attained in your career and the nature of the program you are opting for? How did your prepare your SOP to signal your aim after the program and to your career? *TRV Doctor* |

Hi everyone, I applied for a study permit on July 26 2016. My application was denied for a second time on 16th December 2016, I linked my application online as I applied through the paper route. I have not gotten my passport back up till date. I have mailed VFS Lagos and accra immigration, no positive response. I went down to VFS today and they told me there is nothing I can do other than to wait for my passport to be returned back from Accra like WTF. Anyone with any useful information on how to get my passport back as I really need it to apply for a German visa should kindly quote me. Thank you |

CannyZionist:hahahah bro.. bro at a point i have to specialize in an area about this Canadian whole process of a thing since some gurus are emerging.I can detect some gurus are good at giving admission guides/solutions while some are good in providing help. I, having virtually understood and knowledgeable about canadian system especially Study Permit, I have to specialize in a Critical/Crucial process which is everyone's desire/eagerness/prayers which is the Study VISA process. That came about the *TRV DOCTOR* |

Rfactor: I don't understand all your statements. But will reply the one I grab. Most professors are very busy and only check their email irregularly. In fact, I got a response recently from someone I emailed around September. You read it right, september! I got a reply after 4 months and the reply was "yes", the school - Queens, deadline 31st January. I may not apply to the school because I already apply to 4 schools and I read Queens have little funding for international masters students in my program. So, you may need to be very patient and keep sending better email. You may PM sha. It will end with praises. |

abdullahi45: 40k cad for all masters or professional masters? If all, there own pass UofToronto. Anyway, at Aboki rate, a chairman calculated 378 per cad or something close to that. At form A rate, it is less than 250 per cad. You can join the prayer group asking for change of policy that will favour form A soon. Use Access bank card for anything higher than 100 USD. Use GTB for 100 USD and lower. I used the GTB own recently and was charged around 240 per cad. I have never tried the access bank card. I hope you have secure all other requirements like supervisor if needed. Otherwise, you are 90% about to throway some money in the air. Shalom! 1 Like |

abdullahi45: I think you came late for September 2017. Focus more on January or fall 2018. First thing you will do is Google universities in Canada that offer your interested program, check their requirements and see how you can submit all necessary documents for admission consideration. Go to few pages back on a comment on supervisor search if needed. You can come back after you make your list. Shalom! 1 Like |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by thesoj: 9:00pm On Jan 17, 2017 |
Include proof of emails you sent to your agent where you told him/her to state your US visa denials. While this may get the agent in trouble, it tells CIC the truth and helps you avoid a five-year ban. Don't trust the agent to respond on your behalf to CIC, cos he/she will only try to protect himself/herself. Also, this should be a lesson for you to not put all your trust in an agent... or if you use an agent, make sure you review what he/she sends to CIC on your behalf. You risk being banned if you don't take this into your own hands. jamal411: 6 Likes |

Good evening house. I applied for trv last yr and was denied (personal asset and purpose of visit). I hv HND in electrical engineering and applied for marine engineering and systems design (technician diploma) at memorial uni. My sponsors had (1st : 25mill, co-sponsor : 4mil) with no dependants. I intend reapplying again but this time my main sponsor will pay my full tuition while the other sponsor will pay some cash(around 1-2mil) into my account to show commitment . I also intend putting some cash of mine (400-500k) into my account since I am working. I also intend using my late father's landed property papers ( which I didn't do during my 1st application ) to show I have asset back home (though it belongs to me and my only(elder) bros. Pls gurus in the house what are my chances cos I intend applying soon.. @Michv, @thesoj and other gurus help a brother out |
