Gentlemen and fellow Volvo enthusiasts goodmorning, I want to get a volvo as my first car. Pls I need info on fuel consumption and ease of maintenance. I reside in PH and don't know if there are good Volvo mechanics here. Help a brother out and @ OP can you deliver to PH. I need a clean TOks (black or navy blue) @ fair price. One love |
Re: Thread For Volvo Car Owners/lovers by valarinz: 1:25pm On Jan 16, 2017 |
Ekpeitut: Congrats on your choice on buying the reliable Volvo brand. As for the maintainace cost, I assure you volvo parts are mostly cheaper than their counterparts of other brands here in naija market, so that shouldn't be a problem. As for mechanics I ph, surely na, ph is a big city, it's virtually impossible not to have competent volvo mechanics and technicians, besides I have a lot of clients from pH and they never complained of mechanic so I guess you're covered Whenever you are ready to purchase a volvo car just contact me on my no 08032897486 and we'll take it from there |

Re: Thread For Volvo Car Owners/lovers by valarinz: 6:33am On Jan 18, 2017 |
charlie44nike: Most likely, you have a bad airflow meter, leading to the black smoke, the excess carbon in turn clogs up the inner walls of your throttle unit leading to the the rough idling I believe if you replace your air flow meter and clean the throttle unit with carb cleaner your car will be back to normal It's highly likely your mechanic knows this too, but wants to use scare tactics to squeeze out extra cash from you, but if that's not the case then you need to change him asap Thanks 1 Like |

Guys if you are experiencing rough idlinling or abnomality with your car, this trick has helped me alot. 1. Remove your battery negative terminal 2. Turn your ignition to start and hold it. Press your brake like 50 times. 3. Release your ignition 4. Then return the negative terminal This should reset your vehicle and clear any electrical error. After this if you still notice any abnormality, repeat the process This has helped me a lot such that it resuscitated bad throttle. Enjoy your Volvo guys. Its a good car 2 Likes |

Naturallyme: Are you deliberately trying to become a nuisance on my threads? Wouldn't want to believe so, cos apart from not buying your car I'm sure I haven't done any wrong to you It's not by force to comment you know Tnx |
Re: Thread For Volvo Car Owners/lovers by Naturallyme: 10:48am On Jan 18, 2017 |
Valarinz are you mad. Are you stupid. Are you insane. What's the intention of creating a thread then. I leaked a secret I think. You must be retarded honestly. I have been respecting you before but now yu have dragged urself in the mud. Not buying my car for what. You scammer trying to gain popularity. You just reminded me now I never thought of it at all. I don't need to drop my number here. Am here to help people and people like you have made Volvo users act like fools at times. I can comment on any post on nairaland anyhow I like. Its not your fathers apartment. I don't know you and how dare you attack my here. You must be mad really. Are you the only Volvo dealer?. Av met a lot of them at Ladipo market they don't behave like you. Of a truth, I wanted to sell my Volvo and get another Volvo, the stupid you contacted me and was negotiating for 150k as you condemned my car as if you have manufactured one before. I refurbished it and moved on. I am currently using it and its serving me greatly. You are mad honestly. What's bad in telling people what has been keeping my vehicle running. Its obvious you have bad intentions. Anyone doing business with you does that at his on her own risk. Thief valarinz: See the car the guy was pricing at 150k. He is acting like I was begging him to buy. Honestly u just stepped on my nerves . I approached this guy to help me with fog light. He said tokunbo was 12k and one was 9k. I got to Ladipo market myself. I bought for 4k. This guy na thief now. If you need a cheap Volvo part OEM. Send me PM I will direct you to a God fearing man at Ladipo 3 Likes

Naturallyme: I clearly mistook you for someone else, the guy who comes to my S60 thread to say the car does overheat, that's why I asked if you're deliberately being a nuisance, I've gone to crosscheck again and it's not the same username, so for that I apologize. Also check well, I never made any offer on your car as I told you I don't like or buy S80. Once again I apologize cos of the identity mismatch However it doesn't excuse all the swears and cuss words, honestly even I am still shocked reading it over and over again, I suggest you take it easy sha Back to your post, removing battery head and pressing brakes 50 times?? Seriously? 2 Likes |

Naturallyme: Just saw this part if your message, I see you're very sore you haven't sold your converted car for so long and I refused to do swap with you, I have never come to nairaland or any where to tell anyone I sell parts OEM or not, if you want to buy cars, call me, if you want to buy parts go to ladipo, it's not my biz Tokunbo fog light is 12k, 6k each and you bought the China for 4k, that's what it's sold for and anyone can independently go there and verify and come back here. I never even asked you to give me money for any parts, you only asked me to help you verify price and I did, and that was the end, this is even my first time of hearing anything about whether you bought or not, pls did I ask u to give me money for parts or did I ask you to patronize any particular person? How does being a thief enter the equation You're obviously pained cos you're stuck with your converted car and I wonder whether you feel the same pain towards all those God fearing parts sellers and car dealers you've met at Ladipo who also refused to buy the car from you, na wa o 3 Likes 3 Shares |
