There has been a media frenzy (both print and online) following the tribunal judgement in Taraba celebrating Senator Aisha Alhassan as the first female governor in Nigeria.

I want to quickly correct here, for the sake of education, that she is not the first female governor Nigeria has had. The first female governor was Virginia Etiaba of Anambra state.

According to Wikipedia, Dame Virginia Ngozi Etiaba was the Governor of Anambra State, a state in south-eastern Nigeria, from November 2006 to February 2007. She is the first female governor in Nigeria's history.

Do you really need a thread for that? Etiaba no doubt was the first female Gov in Nigeria but she was not elected why you skipped that part after opening a thread is mind boggling.

So now after the tribunal judgement's defiance to the electoral act and the appointment of aisha jumai. We are not to assume that she is the first elected female governor... Following the conspiracy of the federa high court to ignore the electoral act 140(1)

GUY THINK, Us Your HEAD
Sentimentally and diabolically appointed by a compromised Tribunal is different from being elected by the masses..

Aisha Alhassan is not equally elected she was being imposed corruptly by tribunal taking instruction from a body odour..To say elected is wrong because if elected she should be ruling now. Why is she not the ruling governor now if truly elected?

Point of correction there is a difference between a person being elected and a person being placed in a position. Nigeria is still in the dark age women are not respected. Dame Virginia Ngozi Etiaba was not elected as a governor she was placed in the position due to the elected governor being impeached get your facts straight and don't misinform your country people.

I have an advise for Biafrans. You are the only tribe in Nigeria scouting internet for news to boost ego and supremacy, no one else does.

However, when you find a news that appear to be a supremacy in your favor, it is very possible that others may challenge and displace your claim. When that happens it is very embarassing.

So far, this has been the pattern. You have repeatedly been displaced and embarassed in your strive to be superior, that it is inadvertently raising question on your claim to majority to begin with. There is talk around now that your majority status was not earned. The people at the table when discussion started on independence were automatically placed as majority tribes and while others (Yoruba and Hausa) have sustainably proven their worth as leader groups for their respective regions, Igbo on the other hand continue to pull its region down and in retrograde from the way the colonialists left it to you. Too much deficits in your region.

So desist in your search for supremacy, fix your deficits, sustain and prove yourself a worthy majority....other things will follow.

Bloody mofos!
