sekundosekundo:You're still insisting on making this sick and twisted comparison. Ogbeni what is wrong with you? An air force fighter jet was given the wrong coordinates to bomb. It was human error! Error from one single person! Not systemic failure or corruption. Unavoidable Human error!!!! It happens!!! What part of that don't you understand you this man! O ga o!!! Jonathan was vilified because there was systemic failure caused by bad leadership and corruption. There were no fighter jets to throw bombs in the first place because Jonathan's government looted the money and bought substandard Jets for us. Soldiers were not paid then, so they were not even fighting and were running from the battle field. Jonathan preferred South African mercenaries. That is systemic failure and corruption. This was human error from a pilot! Please I'm very tempted to call you stupid but I won't. Just try to reason and use your head. Wrong coordinates....human error!!! 1 Like |

Jesusloveyou: I think the media was unfair to Jonarhan still, while hiding the excessive f**k ups of Buhari, which is double standards to me, because if the media must be very critical, it must be critical to all, and not just because their preferred candidate is in office.. #JustSaying |

BlueMurder: Obvious case of paranoia coupled with intellectual disability. Whoever ruled out collateral damages in war situations is embellished in the chambers of your imaginations alone, justifying one with another makes the act seemingly intentional. Since it was an error as agreed by many, then accept similar situations, like the immigration tragedy, as an error equally occasioned by human limitations and not the other way round. Hope you will understand, that is if you never smoke early morning weed. |

Re: Foreigners Mock Nigeria Over Accidental Bombing Incident by duni04(m): 9:05am On Jan 18, 2017 |
dragonking2:Someone made a mistake maybe in typing or sending coordinates to the fighter jet pilot, or maybe the pilot heard 21°E instead of 31°E. How on earth is that Buhari's fault? You guys should try to think before you post. I understand that its painful that people have died. But the fault was from one person only, the fighter jet pilot who didn't properly confirm the coordinates he was given!!! Pls try to understand, its not rocket science!!! 1 Like |

This is no mistake, boko haram has successfully infiltrated the Nigerian airforce and planted their own pple with the "ready to kill infidel" jihad mentality The federal Government should not take this likely if possible, a polygraph test should be conducted for every single military person....there may be personnels amongst then that have the jihad mentality |

Re: Foreigners Mock Nigeria Over Accidental Bombing Incident by duni04(m): 9:21am On Jan 18, 2017 |
luvinhubby:Let me even indulge your line of reasoning and compare the events. Bros the NIS organised a screening for some graduates. They were extorted and asked to show up at stadiums. The NIS CG complained that Jonathan's Minister refused to release funds for the proper planning of the event and was more concerned with the amount the screening would rake in. Because of the shoddy planning across the country 16 people died and several injured. It wasn't in just one location that all 16 died, several locations scattered country wide. This was a catastrophe caused by a systemic failure and corruption. Even after the incident occurred the minister still remained a minister and only offered an apology for his failure to authorise the release of funds for the proper planning of the exercise. Jonathan's government did nothing! That same minister is under trial today, thanks to the EFCC, for colluding with the private firm that handled the screening to steal the proceeds of the screening exercise. Jonathan's government would have rather the matter was swept under the carpet. So please where does the comparison arise with yesterdays pilot error? 1 Like |

petrov10: What happened yesterday was a very regretabe accident that cannot be dismissed just with the wave of the hand. That is why the president and the top hierarchy of the military quickly issued a statement on the unfortunate incident. What we should call for now is an investigation into how they got the location so terribly wrong so as to determine if those who provided the intelligence deliberately misled the military. We also need to investigate so as to prevent future occurrence. Mocking the country and politicising the unfortunate accident at this point in time is silly and a serious disrespect to those who lost their lives yesterday. |
