Why The Government Cannot Apprehend Those Behind MMM

With the recent decision made by the Wonder Bank scheme called MMM Nigeria, to remove the GH facilities from their website, again!, after unfreezing it on the 13th of January 2017, 24hours before the said date, it is now clear to all that the Ponzi scheme has finally crashed and participants popularly
called Mavrodians has lost their money (Mavros)

Now the question to ask is if the Government would make a move to arrest those who are behind the scheme e.g Chuddy and all other Guiders involved, well i believe the answer is no, a capital No!

Why do i think so, you would ask, well apart from the warnings from the Federal Government which resulted to insult, and some Nigerians went on to participated in the scheme, refusing to adhear,, the people behind the scheme were also very smart, they used terms that are unpunishable by the law, most of their terms are not recognized by the Nigerian law or constitution, therefore cannot be stated as Crime.

If Government would make arrests, they would had done that already, right from the moment Mavrodians accounts were freezed last year; which unabled them to GH. Even without the claim made by the EFCC through their Twitter handle ''That no one had reported any case of been defraud yet'' they would had made arrest still, lets not forget they almost did way before the freezing of accounts last year December.

In any investment company or firm all over the world the terms recognized by the laws are; Investment, Capital, Interest or Return of Investment, Loan, Money according to the name of currency used by the said country of operation, but these were not used by the wonder bank, rather they twisted the terms inorder to beat the laws of any country they operate in, just has they have done in Nigeria through Mavrodi mondial movement or Mavrodi mondial moneybox (MMM).

Terms Used By MMM

Capital = Charity/Spare Money
Investment = Provide Help (PH)
Interest(ROI) & Loan = Get Help (GH)
Cash Fund/Money = Mavros

The terms above are not recongnized by the law, therefore they are unconstitutional and its even in no relation with the investment company/firm act of the constitution but may only relate to that of None Governmental Organizations (NGO), and therefore cannot be indicted as crime, you give money to Charity Organisations without expecting a refund, once a donation has been made, it can hardly be recovered.

The law would be confused on what to do on the case, just has we had it during the Kogi States election, where a Governor elect died before swearing in, and there were no provisions on what to do in such a situation in the law, therefore the Government maybe rendered powerless on decisions to take.

With the above, it is the more reason why you are advised to read the Terms & Conditions appropriately before proceeding transactions with any company whatsoever.

Note: The above is just an ideaology of a thinker and not necessary a fact, we would need more light on the matter from our learned colleagues.
