According to Ifere who shared the photos, residents that live close to a gully site along the Calabar-Ikom Highway in Biase were robbed at a gunpoint by arm gangsters and killed one Ejike, a trader in Bedwell who was the person mobilizing funds from residents to do palliative work on the gully last year.

He said the gully contributed to insecurity around the area.According to him, hoodlums now use that axis to escape police chase. He called on the Commissioner of Environment In Cross River State: Hon Commissioner Mike Eraye  to come to their aid and fix the gully site.

See attached below the gory pictures of the gully and the corpse of Ejike who have been doing community work on the gully.

what the hell!?! how did it become the responsibility of the residents to fix this gully? How did the government miss out on something this big? why did the residents have to pay to fix a gully of this size?

What exactly is the use of government in our society? When these people protest now, you'll hear them saying "you have no respect for constituted authorities".

The SS/SE has been abandoned by Nigeria, and the shocking thing is, Abuja does not want them to have their own country.
