Well there is nothing God cannot do, but quite frankly i would tell you that these is a battle that involves a combination of a lot of things. Faith, prayers and all other armours of God and you would need a older pastor or spiritually sound person who know his onions to wage these war along with you..

When you fighting these kind of battle, The more you pray the more the attacks that does not mean your prayers are not getting answered, inshort if you have prayed and you didnt see signs of retaliation you have not started.

The Holy Spirit was not yet poured out when Jesus made this statement but Here we see Jesus telling us that those who believe in Him who are believers will speak in tongues, speaking jn tongues is a gift of the Holy Spirit and it is also a sign that follows when one is baptized jn the Holy Ghost. And the reason why all believers MUST be baptized in the Holy Spirit is to receive power and ability tp function well as a believer, it brings boldness to preach the gospel, enables you communicate with God directly in your spirit through speaking in tongues, heal the sick, cast out demons etc, infact there is whole lot of benefits attached to it. Acts: 1. 8. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Sister I think i need to get something clear here.
-I go by what the bible says and not what anyone thinks
-Speaking in tongues is a clear and bible sign that one is baptized in the Holy Spirit
-Because one is not baptized in the Holy Spirit does not mean one won't experience the power of God or have some other gift of the Spirit but there will be a huge limit to the gifts u can have.
-Jesus makes us understand Holy Ghost Baptism is important because the bible saysActs: 1. 4. And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but WAIT for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. 5. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
Jesus talks about promise of the Father in the book of John which is the Holy Ghost so why do you think Jesus asked them to wait for the Holy Ghost if they already have all the powers they need to do the work He called them for.
-1 Corinthians: 14. 2. For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. 14. For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
One most important reason to speak in tongues is you communicate divinely with the Father when you pray for your spirit prays the perfect will of God eliminating selfish request and I will confirm this with another scripture Romans: 8. 26. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
-Not receiving the Holy Ghost Baptism will not stop or hinder one from going to heaven
-But not being baptized in the Holy Ghost will hinder one from enjoying the benefits of having the gifts of the Spirit and enjoying some of the things God has blessed us with spiritually

And it occurred that when Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with and controlled by the Holy Spirit. And she cried out with a loud cry, and then exclaimed, Blessed (favored of God) above all other women are you! And blessed (favored of God) is the Fruit of your womb!

Nbw Zachariah his father was filled with and controlled by the Holy Spirit and prophesied, saying, Blessed (praised and extolled and thanked) be the Lord, the God of Israel, because He has come and brought deliverance and redemption to His people!

We can see three clear examples of people being filled by the Spirit and prophesing here. We have to understand that prophecy is an inspired utterance declaring the will of God. Its not often predictive in nature. Most times what people think are predictive prophecies are actually the word of wisdom and or word of knowledge in action. However I don't think a believer is supposed to exclusively prophecy on or speak in tongues. A believer is supposed to be able to do both.

I'm sure that most of us are conversant with the truth that prophesying edifies more in public gathering while speaking in tongues is more for our own personal edification. I personal believe all believers should desire both. The benefits of speaking in tongues especially as it relates to personal edification and spiritual warfare and Worship of the father is too immense.
I believe we shouldn't be satisfied with just a partial Christian walk and missing out of somethings. We should desire to grow into the fullness of what Christ and made available to us so we can grow into the stature of Christ.

Then to point 2 : Can a person be filled with the Holy spirit, operate gifts and still be immoral and carnal?
The answer is a capital YES. IN FACT THAT WAS ONE OF THE MAJOR REASONS PAUL WROTE 1 CORINTHIANS. I WILL ANSWER THAT IN ANOTHER POST.

It is very possible for a believer to be filled by the Holy Spirit have multiple spiritual gifts, speak in tongues and still be carnal and a baby in Christ. In fact its common amongst Christians nowadays. Let's look at what Paul wrote to the Corinthians.

And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
1 Corinthians 3:1‭-‬3 KJV

This was Paul's assessment of the Corinthian Church but this Church had immense spiritual gifts in fact it was the mismanagement of the gifts that lead to some of their problems(because of internal competion, 1 Cor 1:26) How do I know? Let's see this


I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
1 Corinthians 1:4-7 KJV.

As you can see Paul said they didn't come behind in Spiritual gifts (vs 7) and utterance (vs 5) .
They had authentic firebrand gifts sef, They had good spiritual knowledge sef (but not the full knowledge, I will point out what was missing a later on).
But yet Paul called them carnal and babes? Yet this was a church were disvisons an sectarianism had crept in ( 1 Cor 10: 11-13), Formication (1 Cor 5:1) , pride (1 Cor 5:2, 4:18).
This was why Paul wrote to the Church of Corinth (not to the world)( 1 Cor1:2) TO REMIND BELIEVERS THERE NOT UNBELIEVERS OH, THAT "KNOW YE NOT THAT THE UNRIGHTEOUS SHALL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD?"

Now we have to take a pause and a little detour here, people see the use of the word "unrighteous" in this context means unbelievers. That's not true. There are two dimensions of righteousness for a believer. THERE IS OUR "POSITIONAL RIGHTEOUSNESS" WE ATTAIN BY FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS. AND THEN "MANIFEST RIGHTEOUSNESS" WHICH IS THE PRODUCT OF THE OUTWARD WORKING OF WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST JESUS BY DOING "WORKS OF FAITH" ( I JOHN 3:7)
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
1 John 3:7 KJV

That last line is for those who have turned the message of Grace upside down.
So Paul's warning was for those in the body of Christ who were still sinning and many of them had gifts. That's was why Paul had to remind them they were the temple of the Holy and they must sanctify themselves.

SO IN SUMMARY SPIRITUALL GIFTS ARE NOT A FUNCTION OF SPIRITUAL MATURITY OR CHARACTER BUT OF PEOPLE'S CALLING. THEREFORE DON'T DESPISE THE GIFTS OF CHRISTIANS WHO ARE STILL STRUGGLING WITH ONE CHARACTER FLAW OR THE OTHER.
It doesn't mean that their gifts are not genuine or they can't use it to bless you. But instead reach out to teach them and pray for them. Just like Priscilla and Aquilla did to Apollos in Acts 18. I have seen a drunken client of mine give me a word of knowledge before.
AND A WORD OF ADVICE TO MY EXCEPTIONAL GIFTED BRETHRENS HERE, DON'T LET YOUR GIFTS DECIEVE YOU TO THINK YOU HAVE ARRIVED SPIRITUALLY AND YOU RUSH INTO THE MINISTR BECAUSE OF ZEAL BEFORE YOU'RE THOROUGHLY GROUNDED IN THE WORD OF GOD . IT'S THE REASON WE HAVE A LOT OF malnourished CHRISTIANS TODAY. BECAUSE THE MAN OF GOD WASN'T ready.

So if spiritual maturity is not a function of Gifts and is not even exactly a function of knowledge because Paul said the Corinthians had knowledge in ( 1 Cor 1:7) . WHAT THE IS TRUE SPIRITUAL MATURITY? I WILL ATTEMPT TO ANSWER THAT LATER IN THE DAY.

Yes there are clear picture of those who spoke in tongues and prophesy but there is no where in the book of acts that talked about people being baptized and prophesy but we see those who spoke in tongues after being baptized and didn't prophesy.

Prophesy is one of the gifts of the Spirit1 Corinthians: 12. 8. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9. I've been observing and learning from you guys fervently. special regards to urheme, JMG1 n @Bro etidy, thanks for throwing more lights n scripture backings. Really, spiritual gifts don't determine your spiritual growth. It's just an evidence of the baptism of the holy spirit which he(the Holy Spirit) chooses to manifests himself in diverse ways upon the receiver through e.g word of knowledge, wisdom, prophecy, diverse tongues etc.


I've been wondering why Christians still fall back to sin even after receiving the holy ghost and his gifts, but i've come to know that our earthly vessel(the flesh) is weak,that's why We must always learn to abide and remain in the word which is Christ to produce fruits .( John15:3-8 )

There are actually two verbal evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit from scriptures which go hand in hand. We easily recognise speaking in unknown tongues but there is another which is "prophesying" .

And as Paul laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spoke in [foreign, unknown] tongues (languages) and prophesied.

We see this again in the book of Luke.

And it occurred that when Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with and controlled by the Holy Spirit. And she cried out with a loud cry, and then exclaimed, Blessed (favored of God) above all other women are you! And blessed (favored of God) is the Fruit of your womb!

Nbw Zachariah his father was filled with and controlled by the Holy Spirit and prophesied, saying, Blessed (praised and extolled and thanked) be the Lord, the God of Israel, because He has come and brought deliverance and redemption to His people!

We can see three clear examples of people being filled by the Spirit and prophesing here. We have to understand that prophecy is an inspired utterance declaring the will of God. Its not often predictive in nature.

Sir, For "CHRISTIAN A" that had already been Baptized by the holy spirit, there are some times when the holy spirit will stir up in him to a high level and he starts expressing all this other gifts uncontrollable maybe after series of intense prayer and fasting depending.

The two Bible cases above is same as the "CHRISTIAN A" example above. Filled with the holy spirit doesn't mean the person is just been Baptized. But when we see "BAPTISM" it means the person first encounter with the holy spirit and this is accompanied by speaking other tongues.

Jesus told them to tarry. Note: This shows a lukewarm Christian or mere Christian can't experience the holy ghost baptism. You have to been fully dedicated before you can receive it. As in Revelation the lukewarm will be spilled out.

Also note you can also be Baptized when a baptized person lays hand on you and transfer the faith.

Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them: "Rulers and elders of the people!
Peter here had already been Baptized in Act 2, so he didn't speak in tongues here he just expressed other gifts

Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said

Here also Paul was filled with the holy spirit, but he had already been Baptized so he just expressed other gifts.
So filled with the holy spirit doesn't necessary mean your first encounter with the holy spirit; At other times when the holy spirit stirs up or fills you up you just continue to express the other gifts as your certificate has already been collected on the day of baptism. This does not necessarily mean you won't be able to speak in tongues again as it also appears in the gifts apart from been a certificate of baptism.

The Lord has been revealing so many things.

First of all, I want to thank God for his mercy and grace upon my life. I was in a car accident on my way to the east during the festive period. Two accidents occured on the same day, though no one in the bus got injured or died, but a motorcyclist died in the course of the second accident. May his soul rest in peace. Amen

I know the hand of God was protecting us in that commercial vehicle. I could feel a strong demonic presence through the journey, but God's presence gave us the victory over harm.



Sometimes in life we fail to realize how much God has done for us. For me, i cannot count the number of times God has saved me from death.
I know i am an enemy of satan, as every child of God is. But i never knew that people or someone rather, someone who i think is a friend would want to harm me in a severe way, even to the point of aiming for my life. The truth is, I have a covenant with God. Anyone that tries to take my life usually dies or some great calamity befalls that person. It's not a boast. God has given this grace to His children and His prophets (Psalms 105:15).


But sometimes i wonder, Why would someone deliberately allow satan to work through them?
It isn't just evil. It's witchcraft and it's very distasteful in the sight of God. It brings the fast wrath of God upon the person involved in this evil act. It so happens that after God's time period of repentance given to the witch/wizard elapses, the witch/wizards usually dies in such situations, if that witch/wizard does not repent.


But why would a witch or wizard try to attack a child of God? That's like trying to commit suicide.



There are some people who we think are our friends, but i must tell you that these so called friends are your enemies. I like to refer them as 'UNFRIENDLY FRIENDS'.
They can talk calmly, look gentle and behave humble. But they hate you, they despise you, they envy you, they have bitterness in their hearts against you. These people are not your friends. Overtime when their hatred increases towards you, you'll begin to see them show signs of envy and malice towards you, for no reason at all.



We need to know who our friends and enemies are. We really need to ask God to give us the grace to discern the kind of spirits in people. It helps in avoiding problems.


God had been warning me about a particular friend, but i decided to turn a deaf ear to Him. I totally ignored God on this. God continued to speak. He spoke the second time, third time, fourth time, and the fifth time, about this person! He still spoke about this person to me not more than five days ago
Then later i began to observe a strong spirit of envy and bitterness in this person. For no good reason i was hated, i could feel it each time i was close to the person. And at this point, the person started to show it in his behaviour towards me, he spoke verbally with insults and mockery. I would be perplexed, asking myself why this guy behaved in this manner.

God showed me what this person was doing against me in secret, spiritually. He was using charms and diabolical powers, trying to manipulate me. And God showed me how He (God) aborted this and sent the attack back to him.




On a good day, if someone told me that this friend of mine hated me and was jealous of me maybe because God has blessed me in one way or the other, i would shut the person up.
The truth is, you can never know these people ordinarily. They could be in your family, among your relatives and even among your close friends.


You need God's grace and divine revelation to know who these people are. A good friend of mine can testify to this. God has revealed to her that her own family members are against her in the spirit realm.



In the end, what matters is that God gives His children the victory to overcome the evil haters, unfriendly friends, witches/ wizards, demons. fallen angels and satan. All the congregation of darkness that stands against any of us will fall flat at our feet. And their heads will be our foot stool. Praise God!


The victory is yours children of God. This year you shall soar like eagles, for the Lord God Himself has said 'You will soar'. And no power of darkness can bring you down.


I advise everyone here.

* Do not tell people about your big project or big plans until it materializes.

* Do not tell any kind of friend if you have a job interview, or something big that could move you to the next step.

* Do not tell strangers about your dreams or revelations (except people you trust).

* Always pray when you get to your place of work or business (God revealed my so-called-friend was using charms against me in this area, but thank God he was unsuccessful).

* Always pray when you want to embark on a journey (When i asked God what or who was behind the car accident during my trip, when God showed me this friend of mine, i was shocked. I had to ask again, then God started showing me all about him.)

* Always pray before eating a meal, and do not be shy to pray when food or drinks is placed before you when you're with friends. Please pray.

* Always pray when you receive gifts from people, whether gifts on your wedding day, or gifts from you rich uncles and relatives or friends. Always pray.

* Pray before you sleep at night, and when you wake up in the middle of the night, you must pray before going back to bed again.

* Always pray immediately you wake up from sleep in the morning and pray before stepping out of your house for any day's activity.




You can't know UNFRIENDLY FRIENDS by your human senses. Let the Holy Ghost help you discern them and trust God when He tells you about a certain person.


Everyone has an ability to sense when people operate in jealousy. Listen to your instincts about people, do not suppress your instincts because your instincts could be the Holy Ghost speaking to your spirit to warn you about a certain person or a certain thing about to happen. Do not resist the Holy Ghost, if you're in doubt, ask God to make it clear to you and He definitely would.


This message comes as a warning from God, to me, and to us all.

Stay clear away from UNFRIENDLY FRIENDS!

All you need to do is gather up confidence, approach your mom and tell her you would want her to stop this wrong attitude of hers.
If you do not wish to approach her, you'll have to put confidence in yourself and give her no room to make decisions for you or influence your decisions with that controlling attitude of hers.


Your dream has showed you that if you give her the opportumity, she has the tendency of controlling your affairs and making wrong decisions for you which can have huge negative impacts in your life.


You will also need to pray against the spirit of Jezebel in your home, in your mom's life.
It's a spirit that loves to control everyone in the house and act like the superior in the family. It's a very subtle and cunny demon that is behind this. This spirit can tear homes and families apart if the Spirit of LOVE departs in the family. It's God who keeps the family protected and together, binding them with love against this demon.


Also pray for confidence to approach your mom.

Yes there are clear picture of those who spoke in tongues and prophesy but there is no where in the book of acts that talked about people being baptized and prophesy but we see those who spoke in tongues after being baptized and didn't prophesy.

Prophesy is one of the gifts of the Spirit1 Corinthians: 12. 8. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9. To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10. Thx for this. It's very insightful. One thing I just want us to be cautious about is that ,we must not be dogmatic on things the scriptures is a bit silent on, that's one of the things I believe the Holy Spirit has humbled me on recently. That's why I shifted to the middle on this issue.

You see there is not much difference between gift of prophecy and gift of various kind of tongues.
The only difference is one is an inspired utterance in a know tongue and another is an inspired utterance in an unknown tongue. The combination of tongues and interpretation of tongues working concurrently in a situation is a prophecy. Because interpretation of a tongues turns the inspired utterance in an unknown tongue to a known tongue that can edify the people.

You see when the Greek Bible was written there was no word like "gifts" in Greek. To try and make people understand It had to be imported that's why if you look at 1 Cor 12 and 13 the word gifts was in italics. In order words, what Paul said in effect in 1 Cor 12:1 for example is simply "Now concerning spiritual , brethren I would not have you ignorant". Now this is vital because some people believe a more appropriate term to import is not actually the wors gift but "manifestations" or "things"

If you studied that chapter with the mindset that its talking about Spiritual manifestations or spiritual things. Those gifts takes on a whole greater meaning.
So what Paul could just be saying is that tongues is a spiritual manifestation and not a gift which is more in line with the way other scriptures talk about tongues. And you can see that also in KJV
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

. It simply means a man can be baptized with the Holy Spirit and not have the imanifestation of tongues but actually have a manifestation of seeing into the Spirit realm at point of baptism (I have heard of this) or refuse to speak in tongues because they are being stubborn against it. This appears to be true from what I have heard. An example was the fore father of Pentecostalism and faith healing "John Alexander dowie" The man so heavily anointed that many saw him as an apostle but this guy never spoke in tongues. This guy was a lot anointed that most people who blast tongues today given the exploits he did. No man could do such works he did without the power of the Holy Spirit yet he never spoke in tongues. John Wesley was another man of God that never spoke in tongues.
This is why Paul himself said that ultimate manifestation of the Holy Spirit is LOVE IN 1 COR 12:31 AND CHAPTER 13, AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED THAT'S THE ULTIMATE PROOF OF TRUE BAPTISM. FOR TBE LOVE OF GOD HAS BEING SHED ABROAD IN OUR HEARTS BY THE HOLY GHOST WHICH IS GIVEN UNTO US (ROMANS 5:5) .

And also to add. You don't need tarrying like the apostles to be filled by the Holy Spirit. Even scriptures comfortably refute that. When Paul went to Ephesus and found out they had not received the Spirit , he just laid his hands on them and immediately they got baptised. The one of corneluis and his household was even more dramatic. Peter was still preaching and introducing them to Christ when he fell on them. The crucial component of baptism in the Spirit is Faith. You can be born again and baptized at the same time as long as your faith is ready, he's also ready. I have also heard the arguement that you need to be sanctified first and that's also not correct. Because the Holy Spirit is our SANCTIFIER. HE COMES WITH HIS FAN AND FIRE TO CLEAN US UP AND HE KEEPS DOING THAT TILL WE PASS ON.

Its not often predictive in nature. Most times what people think are predictive prophecies are actually the word of wisdom and or word of knowledge in action. However I don't think a believer is supposed to exclusively prophecy on or speak in tongues. A believer is supposed to be able to do both.

I'm sure that most of us are conversant with the truth that prophesying edifies more in public gathering while speaking in tongues is more for our own personal edification. I personal believe all believers should desire both. The benefits of speaking in tongues especially as it relates to personal edification and spiritual warfare and Worship of the father is too immense.
I believe we shouldn't be satisfied with just a partial Christian walk and missing out of somethings. We should desire to grow into the fullness of what Christ and made available to us so we can grow into the stature of Christ.

Then to point 2 : Can a person be filled with the Holy spirit, operate gifts and still be immoral and carnal?
The answer is a capital YES. IN FACT THAT WAS ONE OF THE MAJOR REASONS PAUL WROTE 1 CORINTHIANS. I WILL ANSWER THAT IN ANOTHER POST.

I hope you realize that speaking in Tongues is not the same as Speaking in Unknown Tongues?

It is very possible for a believer to be filled by the Holy Spirit have multiple spiritual gifts, speak in tongues and still be carnal and a baby in Christ. In fact its common amongst Christians nowadays. Let's look at what Paul wrote to the Corinthians.

And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
1 Corinthians 3:1‭-‬3 KJV

This was Paul's assessment of the Corinthian Church but this Church had immense spiritual gifts in fact it was the mismanagement of the gifts that lead to some of their problems(because of internal competion, 1 Cor 1:26) How do I know? Let's see this


I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
1 Corinthians 1:4-7 KJV.

As you can see Paul said they didn't come behind in Spiritual gifts (vs 7) and utterance (vs 5) .
They had authentic firebrand gifts sef, They had good spiritual knowledge sef (but not the full knowledge, I will point out what was missing a later on).
But yet Paul called them carnal and babes? Yet this was a church were disvisons an sectarianism had crept in ( 1 Cor 10: 11-13), Formication (1 Cor 5:1) , pride (1 Cor 5:2, 4:18).
This was why Paul wrote to the Church of Corinth (not to the world)( 1 Cor1:2) TO REMIND BELIEVERS THERE NOT UNBELIEVERS OH, THAT "KNOW YE NOT THAT THE UNRIGHTEOUS SHALL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD?"

Now we have to take a pause and a little detour here, people see the use of the word "unrighteous" in this context means unbelievers. That's not true. There are two dimensions of righteousness for a believer. THERE IS OUR "POSITIONAL RIGHTEOUSNESS" WE ATTAIN BY FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS. AND THEN "MANIFEST RIGHTEOUSNESS" WHICH IS THE PRODUCT OF THE OUTWARD WORKING OF WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST JESUS BY DOING "WORKS OF FAITH" ( I JOHN 3:7)
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
1 John 3:7 KJV

That last line is for those who have turned the message of Grace upside down.
So Paul's warning was for those in the body of Christ who were still sinning and many of them had gifts. That's was why Paul had to remind them they were the temple of the Holy and they must sanctify themselves.

SO IN SUMMARY SPIRITUALL GIFTS ARE NOT A FUNCTION OF SPIRITUAL MATURITY OR CHARACTER BUT OF PEOPLE'S CALLING. THEREFORE DON'T DESPISE THE GIFTS OF CHRISTIANS WHO ARE STILL STRUGGLING WITH ONE CHARACTER FLAW OR THE OTHER.
It doesn't mean that their gifts are not genuine or they can't use it to bless you. But instead reach out to teach them and pray for them. Just like Priscilla and Aquilla did to Apollos in Acts 18. I have seen a drunken client of mine give me a word of knowledge before.
AND A WORD OF ADVICE TO MY EXCEPTIONAL GIFTED BRETHRENS HERE, DON'T LET YOUR GIFTS DECIEVE YOU TO THINK YOU HAVE ARRIVED SPIRITUALLY AND YOU RUSH INTO THE MINISTR BECAUSE OF ZEAL BEFORE YOU'RE THOROUGHLY GROUNDED IN THE WORD OF GOD . IT'S THE REASON WE HAVE A LOT OF malnourished CHRISTIANS TODAY. BECAUSE THE MAN OF GOD WASN'T ready.

So if spiritual maturity is not a function of Gifts and is not even exactly a function of knowledge because Paul said the Corinthians had knowledge in ( 1 Cor 1:7) . WHAT THE IS TRUE SPIRITUAL MATURITY? I WILL ATTEMPT TO ANSWER THAT LATER IN THE DAY.
