23 weeks and leaking? Kpele dear, am 31 and leaking also on bedrest the way my baby do kick is alarming. Hope they place you on antibiotics against infection?

Please it's not normal, run to the hospital asap, make sure they give u immediate attention. Also importantly drink loads of water, when dehydrated the hormone responsible for contractions (oxytocin) bcoms concentrated, so u may feel the cramps/contractions

Chest ko, Chest freezer ni especially when they just feel like crying and throwing leg upandan.

Except the sleep don enter final stage, then she can lay comfortably.

But generally, I find that putting them on the chest does them good.
I don't know about the boys, but baby girls love their father's arm and chest ehn. I use to be jealousing them sometimes. Lol. While in my arms, she can be fussy, but the moment her Dad carries her, there is peace.

My DH also slept like that in the first two weeks, she slept a lot during the day and was alwys awake during the night sucking breast all through. She's three weeks nw and she's alwys awake during the day, wakes up like 3 or 4 times at night. She is just 3wks old and she likes been carried, when she is alone she'll start crying unless you carry her b4 she stops crying. I don't wnt her to get used to pple carrying her cos I'm starting work nxt month o.

It just occurred to me to post a tip for our pregnant sisters
Please carry hot water flask with beverages to d hospital when going to give birth. Also try to buy bread. Or send someone to get them for u before u put to bed. Also pack cup and spoon
I can never forget the kind of hunger that hammered me the day I gave birth to my son. I had to go round the ward looking for cup and tea and bread o. I couldn't even wait for hubby to bring them for me. I almost finished a loaf of bread and 3 cups of hot tea

Someone told me when I was complaining that I don't want my ds to get used to being carried. I quote " Don't deny your child the bond he or she seeks because of people saying that you are the one that made him to get used to the hand. Every child loves being carried so don't deny them that"..... After that day my sister, I stopped sending anyone and carries my child the best way I can cos he won't be a baby forever so my dear, allow her to enjoy the bond now that you are available, she will still learn to adjust when you start work

For the immunization, he won't cry much compared to the next round he will take...lol
Speaking from my own experience though.
Don't scratch the injection site, if he reacts, put a towel in ice cold water, squeeze out the water then just place it on his arm for a bit and remove x3. Leaving it for too long night discomfort his tender bones.

Panda PCM might also come in handy if temperature is high or fluctuates.

thanks ma, I think so but the one they gave me is making me shaking and I am having horrible dream, dh said if I should keep shaking that I should complain to the doctor

5months and some days and you are not showing yet . Who did I offend oo? Who is pursuing me from my village . I am only 13 weeks and a few days gone and everybody and their mothers know I am pregnant. When I went to church on sunday, one of the elder's wife was saying that if no be say na she follow me go do pregnancy tests 2days before my wedding, she for talk say I carry belle do wedding.

Whyterose, congrats oo. I know everyone is saying forgive Oga and I will same the same thing too. However, if you feel you need some alone time, do not hesistate to take it. For now, let it be all about you and your LO.
