docfarmer3:You are very right. I didn't give further report on it because I changed location of the farm and during transit, I lost them...Then again i move to another project. My opinion of vertical farming using tomatoes will consume a lot of resource and efforts, I will prefer lettuces and other exotic leafy vegetables to grown in them! |

Hi organicfoods, forgive me for calling you out. Got one or two questions that I hope you can help out with. i) what's the function of the pipe in the image shown? ii) Can the fish pond waste be used in the cultivation of watermelon?

Pavore9: 2 years later and no one is even talking about the N5,000 again But this your idea is valid o. If I had N5m I could start an institute and while the kids are learning how to farm, I can sell the produce and use it to reinvest in their farms with a percentage of their profit coming to me And recycle the idea What do you think? |
Re: Vertical Sack Farming Made Easy by Pavore9: 4:43pm On Sep 27, 2017 |
hahn: It is a bankable concept as the ripple effect will be high impact. There's so much opportunities untapped in Nigeria. Take for instance, Ogun State if driven by vision can be in a prime position to supply Lagos with at least 100,000 litres of pasteurized milk daily packaged in 50cl satchet as we have with the pure water as that is how it is also packed in Kenya alongside getting it from the dispensing machine. This is very possible utilizing zero grazing. Vertical sack farming is one of the very practical and low-cost set up that can easily empower many unengaged hands. 2 Likes 1 Share |
