America was built by patriotic, capitalistic and nationalistic INDIVIDUALS like Mr. Trump. It was not built by some lazy, socialistic, perverted, and ungrateful immigrants like y... (you know na). So, forget the subdued left wing media, dude. Trump is their bossy hubby That's why they keep whinning. - That's what's going on. [s] ISpiksDaTroof:[/s] |

pchukwudi:...Mr trump lover, what you wrote absolutely made no sense, you were just displaying your biased sentiments opinion as usual.what I wrote up there are pure facts and am waiting for you to debunk any of them. See,I have no personal issues against trump,he's a smart guy and as a matter of fact,I have been following him for over 15yrs now and have and read some of his books even while still in lagos(I can send some to you if you need them),but the concern those educated Americans are having about him is that this guy is from the business world and so you can't just come in with a radical change in policies and try to shake things up and all that overnight,it's going to boomerang someday. Besides,am a stakeholder,so whatever he does affect me one way or the other and if you are,pm me and let's talk but if you are not, then don't just limit yourself to headline news only you read from our local media. America is a big institution, more difficult to govern because of her diversity. Finally, trump is an american and not an ipob member and doesn't even know if that tribe ever existed cos I see that those from that side that are the ones blindly supporting the guy If he gets it right,we win and if he doesnt ,we all lose together but we shouldn't see one individual as a messiah. 1 Like |

pchukwudi: One thing is common with Trump and a lot of his supporters; they are mostly fantasists and conspiracy theorists. Facts doesn't mean anything to them. Imagine a presidential aide saying someone was presenting an "alternative fact" what the hell is alternative fact? It is called a lie in plain English. That is what you voted for and that is what you will most likely get for the next four years. How can you manipulate pictures that were taken long before anyone knew Trump will run for office? For what purpose? Are you presenting "alternative facts" as well? 1 Like |

Re: Facebook User Blasts Nigerian Politicians After Trump Meets 20% Of Promises by pchukwudi: 2:54pm On Jan 24, 2017 |
Alternative facts means that no one actually took count of EVERYONE that came to the innaugration. Not even the media knows the figure. The simple reason the media used FAKE picture for their lie rather than hard verifiable numbers. But I guess Trump haters are not sensible enough to comprehend that basic staunt. Fact: Go and check the number of viewers that watched the innaugration compared to that of Obama's second term. That's the FACT, not some fake pictures. Aigbofa: |

pchukwudi: You support a guy who once accused Obama of being born in Kenya and he devoted a considerable amount of time and energy in trying to prove it. You are free to believe whatever you want to believe and the rest of the sane society also have the right to believe what they can see and prove. Why compare Obama second term with Trump's first inauguration? 1 Like |

davidif:Globalization so far is only helping China and the few billionaire taking advantage of cheap labor, we have tried for thirty years now and Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan have completely become a ghost factory town with factories looking deserted and drugs everywhere. With united State owing debt equal its gdp and having recorded loss (deficit with China) for 10 straight years. It's obviously time to try something new. "The definition of madness is doing same thing all the time and expecting different result". Trump is a business man and running a business for ten years without profit is madness. Am willing to pay more for what I buy, as long as my purchase in NY creates a Job in Ohio.therefore let this trade war begin. 1 Like 1 Share |

I don't like Trump but that's not withstanding, he is a successful business man and has been for years. He's educated and knows what to do. On the other hand, you have a president who can't even speak words you understand, not educated. |

blueseacats: Wrong, wrong, wrong! Until recently, i lived in Northwest Ohio (pretty much next door to Michigan) while you watched on tv so please don't tell me anything about Ohio being "a ghost factory town". Yes those regions had there tough times especially the city i lived in but the region has gotten better. The auto industries are doing well again so the news about there demise has been greatly exaggerated. There is a difference between statistical figures, news reports and LIVED experience. With united State owing debt equal its gdp and having recorded loss (deficit with China) for 10 straight years. It's obviously time to try something new. You are confusing trade deficit with actual debt. Those are two different things. First of, two thirds of the U.S debt is held by the American people (NOT CHINA) and whenever the united states revenue is not able to match its expenditures (spending) for the budget year then that gap is what we call a budget deficit which is different from a trade deficit. Now to close the gap for the budget, the U.S govt has to find money from somewhere and that somewhere is usually China. The Chinese lend the Americans so much money its not even funny and this is what the U.S govt uses to finance tax cuts (when you cut taxes money has to come from somewhere else) and close the budget hole. So instead of blaming the Chinese blame the US govt. Last time time i checked over two thirds of the U.S spending goes to military spending and the entitlement programs (social security, medicaid, medicare etc) and the U.S has to get this under control. Now when it comes to a trade deficit, that's a completely different thing. A trade deficit simply means that you are buying (importing) more from a country than you are selling to them. For example, the U.S buys a lot from Mexico than it exports (sells) to them. Now this is not exactly bad. Japan has had a trade surplus for decades yet it has been in recession since around 1991. To make matters worse there debt is so large because there revenues are not able to match there spending. Now Australia on the other had has run a trade deficit for decades yet it hasn't had a recession in 25 years. "The definition of madness is doing same thing all the time and expecting different result". Trump is a business man and running a business for ten years without profit is madness. If you think running a country with so many complex moving parts is the same as running a running a real estate business then you are in for a long thing. Yes, maybe some skills do transfer but its a completely different field. As the CEO of a company your word is law, you can make unilateral (individual) decisions by yourself but in govt you have to govern by collaboration and consensus building and that means that you have to be work with people (including your enemies) and you have to inspire them to work towards a common goal. And i don't think Trump has the temperament for that. Let's see what happens to him when he can't get what he wants and how he reacts to that. And oh, don't forget, you can't fire federal employees like you do in the corporate world. You can fire your cabinet members but you can't fire the career govt workers and they can frustrate you if they want. Another point i want to make is that nation states are not corporations they are sovereign nations free to do what's best for them and that can occasionally conflict with yours. In other words, if you think that you can talk to China anyhow and bully them then you got something else coming. Some things are simply non-negotiable in the arena of Geo-politics (See the One China policy for an example) Am willing to pay more for what I buy, as long as my purchase in NY creates a Job in Ohio.therefore let this trade war begin. Hahahahaha, are you sure about that? see wishful thinking at its worst. What happens when your wages stagnate and cost of living increases? Inflation! say it with me I.N.F.L.A.T.I.O.N with a big capital letter i. Yep, that same phenomenon that central bankers fear so much is the one that you are looking on to with anticipation. Trump said he wants to start a price war, increase spending and cut taxes all at the same time?!?!?!?!? hahahaha You Trumpites all deserve each other. At the end of the day, automation is as much to blame for the loss of manufacturing job as any free trade agreement and Trump is about to find that out real soon.
