So, what we are going to do is install the machinery, do the floor, roof with canopy before the rain starts. Production has already begun...

THE GRATER.

1ton/hr, stainless steel, with a 165 diesel engine. Note that this engine uses both water and diesel. It is a small version of the Lister engine. You can use the wind or kick start.

Height is 5ft. Someimes 5ft4inches. With these, you can eat it and have it.

A PEELING MACHINE

This is not all stainless steel. The stainless steel part is the big square that Holds the water. It washes and peels at the same time.

It comes with 175 diesel engine. Sometimes, a 5.5hp petrol engine. Depending on the speed, which also is dependent on the capacity.

This is a 2.5tons/hr grating machine.

Why the option of a fully automated factory?

1. Faster production process.
If you take into consideration that I'm production, the more you produce, the more profit you realise, then, this may mean something to you. If you make 1,000 on a bag and produces 1000 bags. Even if it takes u 3 months to sell off...a profit of 1,000,000 is assured.

2. You are not at the mercy of your experienced workers.

Take note: in some aspect, I would prefer manual fryer to the automated ones. But the day i realised that your workers might revolt, either for a pay rise or other needs that are mostly a privilege, and you need to meet your production demand, is the day i understand that, sometimes, you need to buy peace. Also, any of your workers may have an emergency and won't be around to deliver for a day, a few days or forever, with an automatic powered machines, even a school drop out would operate it.

3. Class and standard
no doubt, it oozes class, and the standard if your factory cannot be compared. Your workers in working uniforms, standard gloves, protective goggles and so on. These are safety gears and necessary. The class is there, the aesthetic is assured. This, I understand, no be some people's palava.

PRESSERS

Our pressers are unique, and of a new design. I don't want to say much and I rarely send in pictures of it because of copycats. With this beauty, I dnt need planks to support your dewatering process. You knw how planks get messy and rots overtime, right?

This design will drain faster and even firmer.

How many bags per batch? 10 and above.

Am I sure? Yes! The dude is more than 5ft tall.

the purpose is not to have cheap prices but a standard factory. All machines are stainless steel and these are imported.

I would greatly advise against non stainless steel because of its narrow opportunities.

Let's say for instance, someone walks into your factory and decided he needs you to supply ur Garri for a required month because he wishes to export or repackage into branded bags. Did you knw that he may need the regulatory bodies to come check his place of production (ur place) before approval?

Besides, if you see such opportunities, you cannot join them because you are meant only for the local feeders.

But, that doesn't mean you cannot have a standard factory without having a whole in your pocket.

Installation is 10% of the total machinery.

With these, you can produce 10bags of 50kg per day. That's is 50-60bags per week. If you make 800 on a bag, that is 40,000 or 48,000 weekly.

the reasons are quite simple

1. Due to the bad power supply in Nigeria, this affords you the use of your machinery without the need to buy a generator.


2. It is quite economical to use. For example, lets say u have no supply of cassava and won't be grating until the next day, and u'll be using the sifter and the fryer, with a central generator, you wld av to switch on the central generator to power these two machines. But if that have a separate engine, u only fuel and power the needed machinery.

This doesn't mean you cannot produce with an electric motor. That is the norms until I decided to come up with these to solve the power issue.

of course, Sir. There is a 1.25tons/hr at 350,000.

the problem is not bringing in cassava to be processed, but the capacity of the factory. Most clients do not install more than they wld bargain for.

I have a proposal that asked for this to be done too. The only factory that may allow this at the moment is still under construction at olorisaoko, in akinyele, ibadan. It has a separate option for processors from outside.

I hoped some of the clients would key in to this because I always table it for them.

But using his own machinery wld be a wahala since he also wants to process and make money with it. If he has to charge u, you may not make much profit as he wld av charged in such that wld suit him, if he was the one who processed.

actually none can. A maize sheller and grinder are different machine. Only the sifting machine has any usefulness.

And for plantain flour , u need a slicer, a dehydrator and a grinder.

In cassava chips, a dehydrator and slicer works as with plantain flour.

THE SIFTERS

The purpose of the sifters is to sift the cakes (after pressing or after frying) and the finished Garri. The finished Garri are mostly sifted to separate the large grain from the fine ones.

The use of the sifter will be determined by the volume of your output.

It would be counterproductive to use hands to sift when you produce high numbers. Of course, the consequence is simple, you slow down your production.
