Why is my bitcoin transaction not getting confirmed and what can I do about it? been more than 5hours now

Mine is 7hrs now... Since 8am... Not yet confirmed

what can I do about this pls anyone with better solution

I suggest we chill. Mine is over 10hours.
I read somewhere that miners process transactions with high fee. Say u pay $1000 and a fee of $4 it will be confirmed sharperly than $1000 with 0.97 fee

if you ask me, i will say i have been doing transactions for sometime now without bothering about whether confirmed or not. but i can assure u that the receiver has got it within the shortest time. So i say who needs confirmation?.

If you're depositing into a marchant like poloniex or Neteller, you must get atleast one confirmation before your money reflects. Even if they've received it, it must be confirmed first. My transactions are just stuck at the moment.
