Nigeria police force... Look more and see less.they have arrested innocent citizens and made them scapegoats.
That was the same trick they played on us when CBN Governor's wife was Abducted and ransom fully paid.
If they are really effective, they should be able to foil the kidnap or at least rescue the victims without any ransom being paid; Not when the crime has been successfully carried out.SMH

Honestly, I always doubt the authenticity of every statements coming from the Police. I do hope that this is not going to be the last we will hear about this story because what they normally do is to go and arrest the criminals they know very well and cook the story so that Nigerians and the presidency will think they are working.

Look at that one with his bleached mole face and ridiculous goatee. The trauma the victims including parents must have gone through because of these dirty, filthy, unkempt, unshaven English pits. Kudos Nigeria Police for your efforts.

Now the next thing to do is feed them with antifreeze, remove their nails slowly with a plier, burn them on a fire, reduced to slow heat or rub honey on their scrotum and stake them to an ant farm.

Cmon dude, give credit to the police. They work when they wanna work, if u think it's easy to join the force. U people keep saying they are arresting innocent people even when they arrest the real criminals. IGP is involved in this case just so u know. Bro give them credit. We don't have security cameras in this country or database that makes police work in advanced countries easy yet the police are still doing their best.

So you mean Nigerian police can act like this?! I'm impressed.

Nigeria Police work when they want to. I'm not talking all those road side policemen or the ones at the counter in police stations. There are intelligent units in the NPF, the SARS and other units. The ikorodu bank robbers were arrested people said they arrested innocent people. The robbers confessed that kakadu was one of the leaders, the same kakadu is among the ones arrested here. Give credit to the NPF rather than criticise them.

But we all know that the police has a penchant for arresting and victimising innocent people. This is not hearsay, most of us know about this.

However, I agree with you that segments of out police force are very effective and can do better if given the right incentives, and I'm referring particularly to the IGP's IRT, especially Abba Kyari. These guys are extremely competent on a good day, in fact, more so than ANY unit in Nigeria's hopeless and useless Army/Military.

The mobile police and special units like the IRT have day to day experience investigating and combating real world criminality, unlike the useless Army fools who spend their time looking for which UNARMED civilian to shout at and order to 'frog jump'.

I have comparatively more faith in the (special units of the) police, and I know they are more efficient and competent than our military, only less armed, less motivated, and most importantly, less hyped.
