He does deserve a better league. I have already pointed that out.

But take into consideration that he was a nobody before Eupen gave him the chance. Now he's risen to be their star player and I think he should been a bit more courteous as he's young and has a lot ahead of him. He should go about things a little wisely so that he can get the move and compromise from the board that he seeks.

Look at how Ademola lookman left charlton. No much drama. You think they didn't wanna keep him? But that kid understood that you don't go gaga on the first club that helped bring you into the limelight...

TheGoodJoe:

Come on. He said the members of the club agreed that they will allow him go when a good offer comes. Why not sell him to Celtic? This is not carrying shoulders for me but a young man crying for his club to do the right thing.

Eupen should sign Onyekuru's papers and let him move to Celtic.

Apparently the guy has gone "missing"...SMH. Dude is going about this the wrong way. Clubs might think twice before signing him up with that attitude.

To be honest Sir.... I'll say that Nigeria would have possibly made the semi-finals. smiley

I am not too sure of the trophy had Nigeria showed up but our WCQ form would have continued to a large extent at this Afcon. DR Congo is a case study though they are a little more cohesive while our team is still young but definitely one of the strongest in-form teams in Africa.

At this Afcon, only few teams are better than our team for now and would have stood in ouir way at the semi-finals stage and these include DR congo, Senegal, Morocco, and Egypt.

Cameroun duelled in a less tougher group hence their qualification for the quarters but can also go all the way as you cannot tell with the indomitable lions sometimes.

Ghana.... Apart from Andre and Gyan, the rest don't cut it for now. Never write them off completely shaa...

Cote d'Ivoire... They are back to that "just a good team, nothing spectacular" tag. They lack firepower upfront but have a really "strong midfield" of "physical monsters" like Serey Die, Franck Kessie and even Seri... Not surprised they crashed out.

So in conclusion, I don't think the afcon inexperience of Nacho, Iwobi, Simon and Balogun would have mattered. They would have made great impressions and ended up in the top 3 at least.

But we aren't there so... I'm just waiting for who will be crowned Kings of Africa.

And I am keen to know if Senegal can overcome Cameroun. (A lot at stake in this game coz of the Joseph1013-Safarigirl-Lakesidepapa business deal...) grin

@supernerd, if Nigeria had qualified for this nation's cup, how well do you think we would have fared

I doubt Onyekuru will feel bad if Eupen wanted to use his agent (note history of trust) and send him to Everton.

Eupen wants to send him to Russia against his and his agent's wishes. They want to go to Scotland and there is a good offer. He is not raising his shoulder but concerned about his career. At Scotland, he is close to the EPL.

Coming to social media to me causes more trouble than it solves. Who even knows Eupen by the way. All we are saying is that he should have some respect for the club that is all

Well, it's okay... I strongly believe there's more to this.

The club wanting him to sign up a new agent is definitely a foul move but then I ask what led to this?

Good to know, also who do you think can finally play 10 for Nigeria. At least Ndidi can play 4. I think we need more creative midfielders cos seems the team has too many wingers

Onyekuru is trying to force his way through. The transfer window is closing. If he keeps quiet at this time, the time will pass. He can not miss the opportunity with Celtic's offer on the table.

The club should respect themselves and do the right thing. Why help another agent steal him?

Sir Danycrusoe.... smiley

Thanks for the welcome and Happy new year (forgive my lateness).

I saw your mentions late but couldn't respond (still busy).

I trust that the topics suggested to you by our noble men/elders/ogas in the house serves your targets well.
I wish you the best in your project works and if you still need a little help please feel free to ask.

I saw no need replying the mentions after seeing them late as some of the ogas in the house (especially Sirs Joseph1013, TheGoodJoe, Goldfish80, et al) had done good justice to suggestions about your project work.

So uhmm... All the best alright... And take care. smiley

Hahahahahahaha..... Exactly! I know money is predominantly the motivation for Eupen.

But this is where Onyekuru's personal relations with the club's executives come in. He should have presented his case calmly but firmly and showed that he appreciates all they have done for him. Doing this and more can sway the decision in his favor and make the club wanna honor the wishes of their star man.

Wisdom... Man... Wisdom. smiley

Eupen failed offering him a deal with an agent swap. If not, his agent would be the person to convince the Eupen Management. I hope they sort this out and let this deal go through.

Iwobi = 10
Iheanacho = 9 (Pace against Algeria was blistering.

I say we invite Aluko as a sub for the ten role.

I still pick Musa Mohammed for the right back role. He was impressive under Salisu Yusuf.

The left back role is the problem but Echiejile did well on the last game and I think merits to play the 3 role.

I initially pointed it out and it is not one but two nations cup, however they will get there. The game against Cameroon will show us a lot, I also want us to remember that we needed defenders on our bench just in case someone gets injured

I think Senegal would win this AFCON. I was most disappointed with CIV but the Senegalese are finally getting it today.

I can't wait to see them dominate the "indomitable" Lions on Saturday grin

Cristiano Ronaldo wining the Champions League a d European Cup of Nations in one calendar year says it all. He deserved it.

So if that what decides the Ballon D'or winner, why then did Cristiano win it in the year he didn't win nada. And Messi won double that year, mind you!

They are turning that award into a joke....that's why I just can't stop laughing as we see Cristiano going thru this slump grin grin grin

But Senegal are favorites going into that clash but history kinda favors Cameroun.
