Not just Buhari, could be a future president, I still maintain this ECOWAS operation was a Bad decision.

okay...

it seems the time of dictatorship is over in africa...

but do you think its a good idea to do the same to mugabe??..

am not sure... undecided..

the guy did alot for africa...

we should just allow mugabe to die a natural death...

just dont allow him to appoint one of his children to be appointed by him to become president...

the people of zimbabwe must deceide after he his gone...mugabe did well..

we shouldnt dishonour those that brought us through post-colonial quackmires...

Zimbabwe is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, all I know about it is Their dollars and that's not a good thing I think AU troops should oversee the next election they conduct...Can't wait to see the pictures of that.

Yes, I was in support of Military action, I wanted ECOWAS troops to force their way in and oversee an election RE-run not blatantly oust Jammeh.

I know that's the point, If Nigeria were to find themselves in a Gambia Situation, I hope the Senegalese dogs would bark just as loud.

My point is this military action has set a bad precedent.

We are gone way past those times. The scenario is unlikely going to ever happen in Nigeria. The courts are responsible for handling election disputes.

When something similar happened in 1993, the then Military dictator was forced down and an interim government formed. Now, this was when we still had military rule.

We are are 18 years into an uninterrupted democracy.

Forced down indeed grin...With General Olusegun Obasanjo appointing A puppet in Ernest Shonekan grin...How long did his strings last? 3 months? Before Abacha barged in with scissors.

Nigeria has become more unstable with Biafra talks, Boko Haram, Ethnic tensions, failing Oil prices...Honestly a coup is likely in the next decade...And like I said I hope the Senegalese and Their Ecowas Comrades will come Barging in..

Irrespective of the very visible shortcomings of Mugabe, Africans across the continent still adore him. He belongs to the Old Guard who fought the British and colonialists.

For this reason, a Gambia like intervention is unlikely. A power sharing deal is more like it.

Mugabe should have stepped down though.

NONSENSE.

This ECOWAS intervention will be meta-analysed in all military institutions, including west point, as the textbook method to take down dictatorships.
Equal measures of carrot and stick.

I agree let's hope he does quickly so a 21st century Thinker can revolutionize Zimbabwe.

Take down billions of dollars in property damage, Take down Thousands of lives, Take down a stable region but none of that matters as long as a man is forced out...or woman wink wink wink

IPOB this IPAD that, biafran rebel?

All these people who think they are more Nigerian than other Nigerians.

Senegal and Ecowas should be ready to Be Action ready against Nigeria when the time is right afterall what is good for the goose is good for the gander. cool
HA !!! Major B.S. the Senegalese army is good no doubt but 20,000 thousand men versus 120,000 that have been deployed non stop for the past 5 years, I'm sure some Nigerian soldiers don't even recognize their Barracks. I get your point but it just can't happen.

Gambia is not equal to Nigeria. Not even South Africa or the entire ECOWAS countries can do same to Nigeria.
Nigerians have passed through worse times and non of your thinking came to past.
