However, this is all irrelevant. We could flick a switch and Zimbabwe would go dark and if we close our border crossings the country would suffer massive economic harm, deport Zimbabweans from RSA and their population grows by 20% in a couple of months.

Maputo does not have the capacity to handle all of their imports, they dont have the capacity to keep their national grid running and they will run out of food in months - in part because of sanctions, in part because of population explosion.

We would be well within our rights RE: International Law.

The South African government, with the support of Botswana and either Zambia or Angola could effect regime change via siege. If Mozambique agrees it could be done in months.
