Collegeboard has a partnership with Khan Academy to provide world class FREE practice for everyone. The six practice tests on khanacademy/sat are the same with the ones on the sat.collegeboard.org and also the same in the official SAT study guide. But khan stimulates the actual exam by timing each section and the practice is tailored to improve your weak areas. They have thousand of official sat questions from collegeboard in their database. The website also enables you to track your skill progress and Review your weakness.

Concerning the offer, it's 50% discount for any of the test and please do not be offended if you didn't make the list and we should try understand as well because population is more than the available slot or space

As for the offer the following below are the terms and conditions;

1, You must be a genuine applicant
2, You must be able to pay 50% while the remaining 50% will be paid on your behalf.
3, Full payment of the 50% at once and not half payment first.
4, Is likely you will receive a call if selected or meet in person before Feb 14th.
5, There is no booking or holding down of a slot or space for anyone.
6, Registration for the test will be done on or before Feb 14th.
7, Interested applicants should start preparing ahead before registration so as to avoid touching stories.
8, Payment will be in naira but it might be on black market rate or CBN rate.
9, An applicant is entitle for a single test and not two so that other can benefit.
10, If you didn't get this offer just wait for the next edition.
11, Submission of all the selected applicant will be forward down before Feb 1st to Feb 3rd 2017.
12, If selected i must get all your details before Feb 1st and Feb 2nd 2017
13, There is nothing like first come first serve (maybe you are the first to send me PM or quote me here it doesn't mean you are selected automatically)

Hello everyone. I need suggestions please

*I was unable to write the january SAT for some reasons but i want to write the next SAT for march 11 with the aim of having a high score for scholarship purpose but someone told me TOEFL is better. How true is this cos i felt TOEFL Is only meant for knowing an applicant's English ability/proficiency.

*Also, i need ideas from those who have written SAT on how to ace it (I've downloaded study materials and started studying vigorously. I'm also following the thread for TOEFL but there seems to be none for SAT on nairaland).

I can't write the 2 exams due to financial reasons hence my post. I would really appreciate everyone's suggestion.

SAT is basically on SS1 to SS3 syllabus for the maths section and if you practice all those Algebra, Probability, Geometry, Mean, Median and Mode and so on am sure you will scale through..

Go and get Barron text book and it will help you alot..

@bold... I will advice you to go and check back online because March edition for SAT is not available for Nigeria or international applicants the last time i check but you can continue your preparation ahead for May edition

You should know that people would just say random schools that come to their minds.
He needs to do the research himself to get the best results obtainable.
He can search for "Graduate Assistantship Mathematics MS US" in google.
He can also replace Graduate Assistantship with GTA or GRA just for better results.
All these vague questions makes you come across as lazy and you need to avoid that
as much as you can. When you have specific questions, people here will gladly answer that.

So my visa has been in AP for the past 3 weeks after being told it was approved at the embassy. This was supposed to be a simple renewal as I am in the middle of my program. I have heard that I am not the only one dealing with this. Does anyone know what is going on or advice on how to get through this period?

@Walspring Noted. I've commenced preparation for the GRE and paying for the exam has been something of a burden. I aim to make scores between 165 and 167 in both sections so if I fall short of my target, it wouldn't be below 320. Anyways... I have to study now and I hope I get some assistance with the registration fee too. Well, till then.

If you're in the US and you plan to travel home soon, you need to be careful right now. In fact, there is a rumor out there that dropbox applications might be placed on hold for sometime under the waiver program, and people would have to apply for interviews which could mean much longer time than you wish to spend abroad...with Trump's executive actions. While this is unconfirmed and may not actually happen, I wouldn't travel yet until he's done with his executive actions on immigration as it pertains to visa stamping and renewal, if possible.

Not much you can do until a decision is made.. You can send them emails at some time intervals to get more information about the status, but you'll have to wait.

I guess so, it's just unfortunate seeing as this isn't my first renewal, I was told to come pick it up in the usual timeline and work is piling up. I guess this is a reminder that nothing is ever guaranteed with this. Thank you for your response

U can try university of Nebraska Lincoln the have fully funded scholarship on statistic in PhD level....best of luck

Please guys...when filling the US study visa, is there any place where one will be asked if he/she has ever been refused visa before? Or is it just that one will be asked if he/she has been refused visa to the US before?

Please kindly assist with this question. I have 2.93/5.00 cgpa. Can I also be entitled for a GA/TA/RA if I write only GRE with good score? I am from a humble background.
