Mickael2:Don't let us assume,it's left for Rohr to decide who to wear d eagles shirt. If he drops form, then coach should decide, not only him but all other players, for instance Ighalo was dropped to d bench against Algeria due to poor form and I doubt he w make d next squad. Mikel Obi is a top notch for Eagles that only lose off form or injury w drop him but this is a player that was inactive for 6 months at Chelsea but always show class in d national team. I remember d issue of Keshi during d last stage of Westerhoff, despite Chidi Nwanu form at Anderlecth,it took injury for Keshi to be dropped to d bench, same thing can be said of Joseph Yobo,it took injury and lose off form for Omeruo to step in. The big question is this who w take over from Mikel coz if a player was inactive and still commanding regular shirt shows that players in d camp are not equal to d task like d case of Ikeme who was mile ahead of other keepers in camp.Did u know that half fit Ikeme kept against Tazania despite d presence of other keepers in camp. |

Mickael2:Pls go and re watch our last three matches and closely watch Mikel very well,i can tell u Nacho,Iwobi and Aluko lack d flair for now.Mikel make things easy for our guys,he dictate d game with ease and Rohr knew this or what do u think w make a coach to always preferred him for that position despite not making Chelsea match day squad. |

BascoVanVeli: How do they do things? Eupen officials agreed they will let him go if the right offer came. They got the offer and note, the are ready to let him go but to a club that is not his choice. The right thing here is to let Onyekuru go to Celtic. No other way. |

BascoVanVeli: You are skipping the question with stories. If Isaac Success got a better option in January, would you advice him to turn it down to stay at Granada? |

The news about Henry Onyekuru going awol is one which every football lover should condemn. Its totally un professional and ill adviced. This sort of behaviour doesn't represent Nigeria and what we stand for in good light. This supposed strike action of his could hurt the chances of other young Nigerian players back home and those trying to climb the ladder in Europe. Even the club who he's running to would have reservations about signing a machinery who will back off when things aren't going his way. If he can go on strike at just 19,what would happen when you give him a multi million dollar contract? It would be in his best interest to sort things out with Eupen and return to office as quickly as possible. Where was Celtic when he was in Qatar? I have a feeling, Eupen have a gentleman's agreement with Redbull lipzig for a summer transfer. A deal that will allow him dig in and help Eupen survive the drop. And for what it's worth, Redbull Lipzig is a better club in a decent environment for a young lad like Henry. Getting to work with a top class manager like Ralph Ragnick who was part of the cast of manager who revolutionized German football (Volker Finke is the other guy) could prove to be the master stroke. Staying a few months in Belgium to get a right move wouldn't hurt him at all. I stand down. |

BascoVanVeli:As to Onazi, I'ld agree if the coach benches Obi. I have this feeling that these two are stealing each other's shine. When one is in spectacular form, the other is average. |

goldfish80: As for Me, I condemn Eupen for going back on their words to let him go. The young man wants to go and they went back on their words. That is totally unprofessional of Eupen. Coupled with them trying to sideline Onyekuru's agent. |

BascoVanVeli: It seems you did not read the fact that a friend of the bus wants to gain from selling Onyekuru. If Onyekuru goes to Celtic, the so called agent friend of the club official will not gain a Bounty. Onyekuru insists it is a good offer from Celtic. The shady ones went back on their words. |

Kog45: Call a spade a spade, some agents suck for the most part. They mostly mislead the players, Musa Mohamed is a prime example. The club has the right to advice their players, there was no gun involved so he wasn't forced to do anything. |

goldfish80: Eupen are ready to let Onyekuru go. Are you not reading the articles? They want him to go to a club that is not the choice of Onyekuru and his agent. I wish there was a better solution but the shady Eupen are the unprofessional ones. If all clubs behave this way, Professional football will become a mess. 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli: I will take advice from my seniors who reach out to help me when I am facing trials. If there are other senior and respected Super Eagles players willing to support the young man, they should reach out to Onyekuru. Osaze did well and deserves commendation. Well said @bolded.... Just the truth well stated as regards the current super Eagles. Onazi and Victor Moses are others that could arguably be term "untouchables" too but these three are the "undisputed untouchables" as long as they keep performing And about not wanting wahala hence you excluded Onazi... I know theGoodJoe and Mickael2 for come for ya head coz of Ndidi's challenge.... Looolll BascoVanVeli: |

Don't forget that Sir Basco was the first to point out that the club actually wanted Henry to change his agent and he suggested that is partly the reason for Henry's awol attitude. Now Basco is saying Germany seems a better destination than Scotland. Sir TheGoodJoe, Between RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga and Celtic in scotland, where would you have Henry develop further? Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by BascoVanVeli(m): 2:22pm On Jan 28, 2017 |
Kog45: The agent can bring up a transfer to the club just like the clyb can bring to the agent. The price of the transfer is worked out between the clubs and not the agent. After the transfer fee is set the agent can then discuss personal terms with the club u are going to. For Example arsenal's Jenkinson was sold to crystal palace but returned back when his agent could not agree on personal terms with palace. I am going to far, just last year a club in China agreed to pay watford over 37 million pound for Ighalo............... Just like the club can't sell him anywhere he can't go anywhere either. He can simply wait out his contract which i have read is 18 months. |

Pls tell me there are no untouchables in Man City or more precisely in "a pep team".... As long these untouchables keep performing (plus their pedigree overtime), they will always be picked... TheGoodJoe: 1 Like |
