Hello people. This is actually my first time of commenting on this thread though I follow it a lot.
Pls I desperately need information on some concerns I have.
I And my family have been travelling back and forth US since 2014 and we have even renewed our visa last year and I also used it to attend an event in July.
Now my worries...
I am pregnant now(with twins), due in May, would I still need to get another letter from embassey to tell them I want to give birth in the US?
When is the most advisable month to travel more so when I have to consider my work and also my sons I intend leaving behind.
Now most importantly, pls I need an affordable hospital in Maryland, pls does anybody know of any and how much (total package) it would cost.
God bless us all.

If you're due in May travel in March due to your multiple birth status and also congratulations

You've been in and out of the u.s so why a change of intent letter, please we've abused that change of intent letter enough, all you need now is to carry enough cash to demonstrate you can foot your bills, correspondence with doctor and find a Hospital, accommodation etc

About affordable Hospitals in Maryland, MD isn't an affordable place compared to Houston & Elpaso, so you might want to get a jotter and pen to take some points down because loads of people have used Hospitals in MD here, PG Hospital in MD etc.

Congratulations again

Yes, go through an airport that receives a lot of visitors.the crowd there overwhelm the guys at POE so that overlook a lot of things some times.

Hello Everyone looking for affordable flights within the US. Explore flying southwest, they carry your two bags for free!
Bought ticket from NY to ELP for less than $150. You might need help of someone in the US as the website doesn't open on Nigerian IP addresses.

Better still, there is Spirit Air that has flights as low as $40 but you get to pay for bags which is still relatively affordable.

Thanks,

Please has anybody travelled on Emirate for a previous missionary journey? I haven't travelled with them before and worried about the experience I might have with two infants on my way back to Nija.

Kindly help a worried mom out. I have 45hrs to figure out if I should pay for the ticket or not

Thanks

True... I tried them and they allowed two free bags which is cool compared to others where you have to pay between $25-35 per luggage or even more.

I am not sure an adult can travel with 2 infants on any airline. I think its an infant to an adult. Apart from this, travellingon emirates is bliss!

Hello all.. For people that have flown British Airways, I called them to get and add my infant ticket to mine which they did and gave me another reference code... however each time I ask them for the amount to be paid for the babyr they keep telling me to call back that it hasn't been calculated. This has been going on for a week now. What should i do pls?? Any ideas?? Abi is it free... lol

Check their reviews online. Heard they serve surplus food and they occupy children with toys. Thats a plus.

You should know this is a very public forum, there are monitoring spirits looking for how to scheme, steal and destroy. Dropping personal info, especially phone number (I have seen emails but phone number? This is epic! )/on this thread is exposing yourself to unsavoury elements. Do you know how many people have been duped on NL? Not to talk of this thread where it is very evident you have money to go and spend in US.

I hope I have been able to sound nice enough.

Hi Nairaland families, just got to Virginia for my child birth. At the Poe, I was asked how am going to make my payment on the delivery, I told them self payment but fortunately I got my cousins number in Newyork and he told me to deliver in Newyork so that the money will be removed from his health insurance which will just be$4,500. Is it advisable to use his health insurance for my childbirth bills? Hope their wount be any problem at the POE in the future. Thanks Nairalanders and God bless you all.

Isn't that insurance fraud? Whether in america or nigeria, if you are not registered for an insurance policy and try to get the covers assocuated with that policy, i believe it is considered to be some type of fraud. So please think this offer well. It may affect your future POE and Visa renewal. I don't believe a few thousand dollors is worth it.

With the immigration issues going on in America right now, commuting insurance fraud is the last thing that should be on my mind. You told them self pay at the POE and I believe you had money to pay for your childbirth b fore you left Nigeria. Don't let a few thousand dollars bar you from future entrance into this country. Not worth the stress.

When u use ur cousin's insurance and he starts asking for the child's ssn for his use another family issue will start. It is better u go and pay ur bills to prevent future issues.
