I completely avoided Juliet, I was still very much scared for my life after that unexpected drama that unfolded at the restaurant. I stopped picking her calls even when she persisted on calling me. She sent me lots of messages, telling me how she had long since broken up with Gadafi before she met me, she said she was sorry and she was begging wholeheartedly for me to have her back. Anytime she came over to my place, I'd instruct my brother to her tell I wasn't at home. I'd sometimes hide in the batheroom and peep through the door of the bathroom, watching my brother talk to her. I wasn't acting like a coward, I was just scared for my life. I had no backup, If I was to cling to Makavelli or Michael my old friend for protection and assistance, I would very much be lured into cultism But the main issue was how long will I keep running?. On a very good evening around 5pm, I was in my room alone playing FIFA 14 on my laptop, while jamming to Eriggas Mixtape, when got a call from Juliet. ''why this babe dey call me na. Choo The wahala wey don sup never do?'' I thought. I put my phone on silent and continued playing the video game on my laptop. But sadly she persisted. ''this babe na winch o. Until dem puff me finish before she rest abi, make I switch off my phone''. As I was about to switch off the phone, I heard a knock on the door. I stood still praying silently that the person behind the door should either be my friend or my neighbours and not ''you know who''. I lowered the sound of the music using the remote control that way laying very close to me on the bed. ''who be that'' I asked. Trying to put on my camouflage short jean and a shirt. ''it's me Juliet open up please'' was the response I got. I stood close to the door with my two hands resting on my head like someone who had just lost something very dare to him. ''yawa eh! I don die o. Them send this babe come meet me abi wetin?...'' I wept inwardly. I opened the door for her to come in, as she entered, I went outside to observe if no one had tailed her from behind to my house. After my brief scanning of the environment, I went back into the room locking the door, using all the bolts available. There was an awkward moment of silence between the both of us. I just had to say something to break the silence. Me: so how far nah... How may I help you? Juliet: Temy you are still avoiding me abi... After all this while. I've told you that I'm sorry. That kind thing no go happen again. You gast trust me. Please. Me: Babe, I no want trouble. I don enter too many shii for my life. I just want my life to be peaceful that's all. Juliet: so I'm now the life destroyer abi. I've told you, myself and Gadafi are done. Me: if you had broken up with him, why was he still clinging to you? Juliet: I don't know why Me: if you don't know why, then please just leave me alone. Juliet: Temy, I do care about you, if you don't know. Me: if you do care about me... About my well being. Why don't you let me be? Juliet: seems you dont understand what's happening. Me: how will I understand when you didn't tell me you once had a thug as a boyfriend? Juliet: I never loved gadafi one bit. He forced himself on me. I met him when he was in 300level. I hate him so much........ Infact he tried to rape me. Me: like seriously?...why didn't you report to the school authorities? Juliet: Temy why are you talking like this... Don't you know it's risky. Me: I hope he didn't touch you? Juliet: mm Me: what's that?... Say something now? Juliet: yes he did. He raped me. Me: wao. So sorry. Juliet: the deed as been done. I just want to move on with my life. I could see tears dropping out of Juliet eyes as she cried profusely. I went closer to her and held her close to me. Caressing her long Brazilian her. She wept on my shoulder. I offered to give her a cold drink but she refused. She laid on the bed while I watched her fall asleep. I went into the kitchen to prepare Yam and fried egg for us to eat, it was obvious she was going to sleep at my place that night, thankfully my brother wasn't home. Thoughts of Juliet clouded my mind, as I began to contemplate either to ''establish'' a defined relationship between the both of us or to completely desolve it, It could be of great benefit if we just remained friends. I tot. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

We had a great sex that very night. It was quiet a memorable one. I tried at first not to givein to my corrupt thoughts and desires but I couldn't just let go of the presence of Juliets ''Ukwu'' laying right next to me in bed. I can still recall myself rolling on the bed simultaneously as thoughts of having a close and sweet intimate sex with Juliet engulfed my head. I didn't even know when my hands unconsciously touched Juliet boobs and began to squeeze them. Juliet succumbed to my desires. She also wanted it. Infact, She gave me one of the most passionate kisses I've ever received in my life as both our bodies merged together under the bedsheet while we had a sweet and romantic sex all through the night. I woke up to see Juliet already getting dressed to go home. I checked the time and it was just 6:30 in the morning. ''baby, why are you leaving so soon, it's way too early nah?'' I asked trying to wipe the sleep out of my eyes. I could see Juliet trying to fix the strap hook at the back of her bra. ''Let me help you fix it, hold on'', I stood up from the bed and went over to were she was and helped her fix it. ''Thanks, babe... I have a class by 8am, I have to hurry up, else the Lecturer won't let me in. You know how all these Lecturers dey do na'' she said looking into my eyes. ''don't worry, I will be fine. You hear?''. ''No problem, just take care of yourself, my dear'' I said, as I went into the toilet to ease myself. When I came out of the restroom, I found out she had left. I relaxed on my bed for a little before eating and getting ready for school. I got to the school premises before 12pm. The sun was shining so bright so I decided to enter the nearest shuttle vehicle heading straight to my faculty, only to discover that the next person who was sitting very close to me in the vehicle was Gadafi. The presence of Gadafi made my heart skip a beat but I just had to compose myself. Me: boss afa na? Gadafi: do I know you? Me: yes na. You don forget? Gadafi: mm... Wait make I think small. Me: na me be that guy wey una wan play some weeks back. You don forget? Gadafi: heyyyyy, my guy. Afa na. Where you dey go? U be temy abi Me: yes bros... And na NLT i dey go o. Abi you wan pay my shuttle money? Gadafi: no wahala we be guys nah. We exchanged phone numbers. And gadafi paid for my transport fare. we bid ourselves goodbye as we went towards our various destinations. I got to class quiet early. There was no sign of my lecturer or even his car, only few of my colleagues could be seen roaming about waiting anxiously for the lecturer to come. I dialed Maysons number, waiting patiently for him to pick up his phone. He finally did. Me: Mayson afa na. Mayson: Temy, I just dey, Where you dey? Me:I dey school o. Class no gree hold o. Lecturer no come. Mayson: I know. Right now I dey NFA. I dey blaze up with my guys. Show na. I went over to NFA, sighting Mayson, Thompson and some other guys from a distance, sitting on a bench at a little kious, drinking alomo and mega sea. ''Brosses I hailo'' greeting each and everyone of them there. ''Thompson I know say you must dey here.. Idiot'' I whispered into his ear as I sat down close to him. ''mama abeg give me one alomo, for the road'' I said to the Mama in charge. ''Thompson I don miss you o'' I said to Thompson brushing his hair with my hands. ''Temy you know how much I cut this hair'?' he said, trying to dodge my hand. ''My pekin take o'' the mama said stretching her hands ''shey! You want cup''?. ''No ma, I'm okay thank you'' I opened the bottle of alomo and gulped it into my mouth, I unintentionally squeezed my face after tasting the intensed bitterness of alomo bitters. Thompson: why you dey squeeze your face like that na. Me: idiot you no know say alomo dey bitter? . Thompson: because of alomo bitter na why you con dey squeeze your face?... Give me your phone make we snap picture. Me: you wan waste my battery abi. Thompson: no, just one picture. We posed as we took pictures together. Dropping different style as we took turn snapping each other. After we finished Thompson began to check the pictures we had taken Me: after you don check the pictures finish bring am make I check too. Thompson: no wahala make I send them go my phone through flashshare.. Me: no wahala while Thompson was checking my phone, he paused for a moment looking into my eyes. Me: why you dey look me like that na, I thief your babe? Thompson: you know this guy? (bringing the phone closer to me so I could see it) Me: yes na... Na my real guy from secondary school that year Thompson: They don fall this guy. Me: na lie... When? Thompson: yesterday na. The news done cast. Me: why you dey talk like this na. Abi you don high Thompson: Mayson you sabi this guy na? Mayson: confirm. That guy done go. I bowed my head down as a drop of tears ran down through my eyes. I had just lost a friend and a brother. Michael the final year brethren had just gone six feet under the ground and I was just finding out. 11 Likes 1 Share |
