You're not the US, not even in West Africa... Maybe I should remind you how much you struggled with BH. How do you think you can battle Senegal, Niger, Ghana and Cameroon combined? .. You don't have solid ground formations, your airforce only drops free-fall bombs, your navy doesn't fire anything above a 76mm projectile.

You're over estimating your small military muscle.

Solid ground formation lmao you must be kiding, BH has been very difficult thats true no war is simple, US and EU are still in afganistan no west african country aside of Nigeria can defeat a group like BH, it will be a mess just like in Mali, Mali has almost lost the war then France intervene and Nigeria too ... no progress ... Russia even run away from Afganistan that doesnt mean that all the middle east agains Russia the Russians will loose.
Senegal army is a very very small army with beautiful paintings on their vehicle (NO MINE PROTECTION zero COIN capability ) ... not even enough for a real conventional war ... we take Niger Chad and all this tralala all of them I wonder if they can have more cash than GLO (company) ...
our Army needs new equipment thats for sure because we dont focus on them to equip our self, but with what have currently we finish them ...
dont even talk about our ships .. they only boats ... Im wondering if they radars but even if .. we have stealf technology in our arsenal ...
Nigerian Armed forces are currently deployed in more than 9 countries .. and more we are fighting 2 insurgency in our country yet we are winning everything

PMB was a formal military man while GEJ was a bloody civilian. Although I will still say PMB tried because he had fewer resources in terms of government income and a very high exchange rate(155 to a $ now 305 to a $ officially) which would limit procurement of weapons. The best thing is just to make sure we produce most of our basic military needs within the country.
Yes made in Nigeria is the best long term Defense strategy ... and more the millitary respect he is a 5 start, they really see him ass their leader thats good

Mr miss informed, the Nigerian airforce don't just drop bombs, they have access to satellite imagery, ISR platforms and even PGMs just like many advanced airforce. It's not by how many Aircrafts you have but by how well you use the little you have. I believe we are far ahead of South African airforce with 26 Gripens jet but just 6-9 qualified pilots and 4 hawks with only one pilot who can land at sea. Every country don't fight war like the US. All that matters is that our strategy works well for us and many countries have been trooping to Nigeria to learn this wonderful low cost strategy of defeating terrorist.

And for your Senegal, Niger, Mali and cameroon invasion, all I can do is to laugh in Pidgin. You can add South Africa to the list too and I swear nothing would still happen.

Our Airforce can actually fire missiles, yours don't even have them.... A single Gripen can dominate your airspace unchallenged.

As for adding South Africa on the list, relax - Senegal alone can curve you up, they have real soldiers not selfie boys.

I'm loving it!!!

Only one country is active militarily in 9 African countries, that's Big Brother Nigeria.

"Do you know, the level of political and military prowess that is needed to achieve that?", offcourse you don't , your soldiers ran away from the CAR after waving the white flag, they have also ran away from Sudan, as expected. I can feel the South-African pain, i don't envy you!

The tears of pained South-Africans is like fuel to my soul!!

Buhahahahahahaha, look at this fool, we turned your Special Forces into mechanics in Nigeria. That is what we do in Nigeria.

We turned the Koevoet operator into a mechanic.

I'm sure the Recce operators were used in toilet cleaning duties. Keeping the Nigerian military toilets clean and neat.

overhypedsteve:
it can't? If the operations that brought down the Administration of Khadafi had been a joint diplomatic and military intervention by leaders of the region do you think Khadafi wouldnt have negotiated for a deal instead of having himself slaughtered on the streets of a county which he single he helped built, like a goat. A regional effort on the Libyan situation would have included plans for a successful and peaceful democratic change of Government like we supported in Gambia. But no, it was an ECOWAS operation so we have nothing to learn from it, even if a 22 year long Dictatorship was taken down without one shot fired. If simple Military exercises can find their way into textbooks on strategic studies as key examples on particular reference areas why do you think this "very successful" ECOWAS led operation cannot be applied. I can lost a thousand and one already messed up scenarios where this could have been applied. Even the OAU cannot carry out a Diplomatic and military operation simultaneously with this kind of success.
Can't be applied anywhere!

Where division sized ops are required.

Sheeeittt! Friday the 27th was a bad day for a 15KR coy at their FOB in Kolbio on the border. They lost 30 including the commander and deputy. This is a new Al Shabaab better organised able to gather 200 fighters without a leak. They first tried a conventional coy level attack but were repulsed by the 105s ande 81 mms. The KDF settled down for breakfast and soon hundreds of AS massed. They sent 3 massive VBIEDS the last of which allowed penetration of the perimeter. The survivors withdrew to a rally point to await reinforcements and retake the camp.

Patches, mikeza and frumentius were your SWAPO/PLAN/FAPLA or Cuban allies ever so martyr hungry? Tell me henry240 have your BH ever used VBIEDS to attack prepared positions.

Koevoet are were COIN police not special forces NOT even military.

So Nigerians can't take care of their own vehicles, they had to hire mercenaries to do so.

Not only do we shoot your petty Nigerians like animals but we teach you how to use a vehicle.

You must be ashamed.
