One thing you need to know about Liverpool is that they tend to performwhen they're playing against the big 4 and misbehave when playing with lesser teams.

I have always said that a Coach's true ability is not measured when he is having a good run beating poor teams but on how he is able to Marshal his team to respond to a difficult game like that of today.

I won't be rating the coach's input in the game and I won't say," if only Costa had scored the penalty bla bla bla because football is not judged or analyzed that way" Rather, I will rate the Coach when I see how his team respond against Arsenal who will be looking for a win after today's loss.

A game changing coach should have atleast two formations his team has mastered so that in the event where his opponent has successfully neutralized his first formation, he should be able to switch. That is called having tactical nus. Also, every highly technical coach should have "a joker" a sub that you can bring in when the starting 11 is having a bad day and he will come in with something new. For our darling Chelsea, it is difficult to see a player come from the bench and start the game changing. Most subs come in to consolidate.
