In the spirit of giving back... Good morning mamas and papas. I was here to share my transcript in December when I applied alone and was refused the b2 visa for no reason in Abuja.
I reapplied with my husband for January but my husband was called to work so we had to reschedule to today. He still wasn't back so I had to go for the interview alone. Here's how it went
I reapplied in Lagos this time

VO: good morning
ME: morning ma'am
VO: can I have your passport please
ME:I passed my passports to her
VO: so why are you going to the us
ME: to have my baby
VO: are you married
ME: yes I am( then I chipped in that my husband was scheduled to come with me but couldn't make it)
VO: what do you do
ME: I'm a .... Working with .....
VO: what does your husband do
ME: he works with.... As an .....
VO: so who is paying for the trip
ME: my husband is my sponsor
VO: do you have any doctors correspondent
ME: yes I do. And I gave her
VO: okay thank you.
VO: so how much will this trip cost you
ME: slightly above 13k dollars
VO: have you made any payments
ME: no. The hospital refused to collect payment until I come in person
VO: okay that's fine. Pick up your visa on Monday bla bla bla.
She said my husband can apply for his when he gets back dou.
I seriously didn't hear the rest. I'm just so excited and grateful to God who has done this. Aside the dr corespondence, nothing else was checked.

Now I'm looking for affordable tickets to Houston. Plan on using HNWM and dr Xydas.
Thank you for all the impute and encouragement. God bless you guys in nairaland

Actually its quite easy to read old posts... it takes a click or two. I can't stand frauds saying insincere prayers. Yeah sure... you'll still depend on "god and favor" to come up with your next trick.

cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy Actually i can afford my wife having a baby in the United States, it just happens to be free if you have health insurance.

Madam Ujoan, this matter have been overflogged! Please don't 'resurrect' it again. Let the thread progress with meaningful posts.

Thanks

Touchy ain't you?

Almost all the conversations on this thread have been over flogged. . . . And yet here we are.

I didn't want to say anything because I think the guy has made enough points. . . . I just agreed with what he said. No need for you'all to get upset! cool

Meanwhile the way you ladies attacked that guy for stating his mind is very unbecoming (kind of like how you're attacking me now by calling my post meaninglessness undecided ) . . .

Someone even accused him of being clueless because he's not a woman and doesn't have any 'maternal instinct' . . . . SMH . . . . So very sexist!

I don't want to believe that this thread is degenerating to the same senseless bullying other areas of NLd is facing. Tsk Tsk. . .

Well I needed to make it clear for people on this forum because reading through it seems youve done some illegal stuff. And I don't supporting anything Illegal. I AM NOT ON HER SIDE!

I dont think you understand her story. If you did, she did not do any illegal stuff. She got a medical visa, her hubby went to apply to join her on the trip and was denied. He reapplied immediately and for some reason the VO told him her visa has also been cancelled. In her confusion, she came here and she was advised to travel on the visa to know the actual state of the cancellation, luckily, she was able to scale though.

Fast forward a few months later, she tried to travel and she was asked to visit the embassy. She did and the VO cancelled her visa even though she gave them all the receipts and all that. She was advised to reapply during the interview so she came back here and we advised her to go ahead with the new interview. She attended it and defended herself, and her visa was reissued.

From her story it was all a mystery, why it was cancelled in the first place and the reissuance if the visa, so in her opinion, it was just God.

So what is illegal in the recap?

You did not give the reason why you were denied[/quote. I was told I wasn't eligible for visa according to section 214(b)

My sister needs to see this ooo. She has a valid visa, she got it last year when she was pregnant and going for a medical test/treatment, unfortunately she lost the pregnancy like few months here in Nigeria before she traveled. She ended up traveling to us just for a change of environment, used like a month and returned. Now she's pregnant again but this time around, her husband wants to apply for visa so as to accompany her for the test(which is already paid for). I hope her husband will be granted d visa and her own visa won't be revoked. Because she's still here and her husband is going for interview like next week or so. Please advice. What can dey do. They re scared after reading this experience....

QUEENBIZ:
Good day my wonderful people. I have been a silent reader of this thread and I must say I've really learnt a lot from reading various post on this thread now I need your sincere assistance.
I was issued 2yrs medical visa for birthing purpose in 2015 which I successfully use and paid all my bills. My DH applied while I was in the state to join me for assistance cos I had CS but was refused. I came back after processing all my baby documents and used the visa again January,2016 for baby follow up medical appointment with his dr after a scrotal scan was done on him when I noticed a swollen scrotum and as well paid all bills. Now I intend to use the same visa for my second baby as I will be due by April and visa will expire by August and we decide that hubby should apply again December 2016 so he can join me later ard my due date so assist with our first child and his application was again refused despite showing the vo all the previous bill receipt. He re-applied within a month interval (Jan 2017) and was refused again but this time he was told not to put me on plane that my visa has been revoked. I tried to mail the embassy to mail the embassy to find out about the cancellation but the response I got does not explain whether the visa was cancelled or not and I don't know what to do next. Though I already scheduled an appointment for mid February to visit the embassy for detailed explanation and new application but I a lil bit confused. Don't know if that's the next thing to do. Kindly help a sister out.

You cannot just be denied a renewal.

Did you apply for medical visa or you used a visiting visa for childbirth?
Did you lie about being pregnant?
Did you pay all your bills?
