That's what we all thought until we tried out Glo 4G LTE. If you mean the Huawei E5573s-606, then yes, it can be unlocked.

After downloading the miui v8.1.1.0 using DM, importing the zip into the internal memory of rn3p and selecting the file from "Choose update package" on the updater screen, the updater is still telling me to download the update via wifi netw! Do I have to unzip the downloaded file first?

Change to lte only or wcdma only.

However if you reboot or switch airplane mode on / off or switch Internet ( from one sim to the other), it will revert back to lte/gsm/wcdma/td

bro all u have to do is create a folder in ur internal memory and name it downloaded rom

After tomorrow when their holiday finally ends, everything should be back to normal. I was very surprised when Xiaomi online store alerted me of my shipment earlier today. I wasn't expecting any progress till on the 4th.

Have you done mtn LTE speed tests on your RN3 SE? I'm just curious about the speed. Dam5reey was getting some awesome speed on his Redmi 4 pro.

I don't have Mtn sim. But I guess it should be faster than Glo. I'm waiting for Etisalat 4G wink

Put in memory card. Abi how do you want the phone to read the file in the internal memory when it's flashing the same internal memory?

Definitely, mtn 4G is way faster than Glo 4G. Etisalat 4G is only officially available in some parts of Lagos, though it's now being deployed in Abuja.
