Hello everyone, I just want to know if there are people in my category,especially guys, I am an extreme introvert and everybody is complaining, I don't really have friends and I am ok that way,just that my parents are beginning to complain,they believe I should have outgrown this "quietness". I don't knwo if I should panic...Pls house,is there anything wrong with keeping to myself?

Me am introKing for sure but brov, you have to try new things like learning to communicate effectively with people whenever. It could be an emergency and you are called to address the gathering and then your liver shiver.
First, learn to make friends. Go out! Attend ceremonies! Go to pubblic places! Ask people How fah!
Tease a Girl! Just go out!

That's the bad part, I don't like occassions,even when people talk to me,I lose interest very fast..... people now feel I am proud

The simple solution is Do the reverse of the Present You.
I was like that previously but am getting over it. It started when I became my school's Head Boy. I got to speak at assembly. Then in church I was the youth leader.
Try associating.

An Introvert? Sorry to disappointment you, OP, you can't lose that. Someday, you'll find that it helps you "recharge" after an emotionally-tasking day. Here's my advice for now:
1. Find something you can do in your sleep e.g I for one know introverts can write!
2. Write a lot.
3. Get someone to read it.
4. Be sure to wait for their remarks. Good or bad, it'll open you up.
5. Write more
6. Have different people read it.

Its subtle. But you'll begin to feel comfortable around people when you feel they appreciate something you're good at.

PS: I healed. You can, too.

Don't be too "introvert" else you will never become successful at anything in life. I'm also an introvert but i manage it well.

Hahaha,we're virtually thesame, I went through higher institution with just one friend(male) and no girlfriend even tho people thought I had many,my only friend was my phone and music,everyone thought I was gentle,but they don't know what goes on in my head

I too am also an introvert. I recently mastered the art of not giving a phuck. Just be free. Don't be afraid to go places or be with people. Go out more. And be confident with yourself, others will follow.

You know people will think you're forming,they won't know you're just not interested

I don't have problem speaking in public,infact i've been doing that since I was a boy,but after all that,i'm back to my normal self and can't seem to enjoy the company of others

i think mine is the worst kind, am an introvert back in university I had 5 female friends only, I rarely go out, and when my friends invite me out, I always look for excuses not to go,
....I write a lot, am a good story teller
....I love my space
....I hate unnecessary attention other girls think am proud
...I hate crowded places and being around people am not comfortable with.
... a lot of thoughts go through my mind positive ones and negative ones and I can be alone at home all day long.

I don't mind, this is just me but...........

I suffer from depression, mine is really bad sometimes I think about my own death. I am currently trying to manage this depression especially the mood swings... is there anyone who has similar feelings ?
