NurseEze1: Married couple may choose for protective reasons to use condom, plus they may legally validly use via gra to boost their sex life, so I see nothing wrong. If your conscience is troubled, just write boldly that such items are assumed to be procured for use by married couple. 4 Likes 1 Share |

NurseEze1: Seek opinion from your pastor. What is your church standard on contraceptives? Answer to that will guide your sale of condom. For viagra, its like any other drug. |

NurseEze1:As a Christian, it's not bad to sell such. I started my business years back with sale of roughrider condoms from UK. Condom is a vital tool in family planning among couples. That is not all, it's a vital tool in ultrasound scanning System(USS) in hospitals. If you want to scan a woman's genital for instance, there's a probe or transducer called the transvaginal probe, which some also called the endocavity probe...a penile-like probe which is inserted into the female genital. Before inserting this probe, the tip of the probe will be inserted with it to prevent cross-infection when used on another patient. For the viagra, some married men suffering from weak sexual problem do take it to boost their erection. It won't be a bad idea if a man, in a bid to discourage his faithful wife from seeking men outside because her husband isn't there to perform his role, uses a viagra to address his weak erection problem. we should stop deceiving ourselves, sex is a vital tool in marriage. If you like, give her billions of naira, build a mansion for her in banana island, take her on a vacation to disneyworld every year...if you're unable to play your role as a husband no matter how godly you are, she'd definitely look outside and that doesn't mean she doesn't love you. She wants to feel satisfied. I have a cousin whose husband had been away for months on business vacation, this lady would always be the only one in the whole building. One day, I called her to say hello and also ask if she hears from her husband. She said yes but she's feeling bored and it's getting too much. She said she even hung out with her neighbour, the guy she rarely interacts with but because he noticed she's always the only one around, he had to ask if she wouldn't mind to hang out with him to ease boredom one weekend and she said she's even considering hanging out with him again the following weekend. I was angry. I had to call my cousin's. husband and explain to him what's happening. I was so sure she wasn't having anything doing with that guy because I can vouch for her on that...but that's how it all starts from in most cases, because you can't be hanging out with another man or woman who's not your spouse only to be looking at each other's face without saying a word at the relaxation spot where you both are seated. If nothing happens on the first date, the guy must voice out on the second date and you as a woman who's prepared for anything, it would be like igniting a clothe soaked with petrol and that's how most marriages collapse these days. My cousin had to return that week. If this could happen just because her husband was away for a few months on business vacation, I can imagine what some women could do if their husbands they live with everyday are too weak to perform their role over a very long time. So, you're doing many a favour by dealing in such health products. 18 Likes 5 Shares |

You are assuming it is only the youths and unmarried who use condoms and sex enhancers. That's wrong. Legally married couples do also make use of these contraceptives and pills. If the OP's consience is so burdened, my advice will be for her to sell it to married people only. |

NurseEze1: Are you opening a patent medicine store, a chemist/pharmacy? You should know where to draw the line in any of those two. You will need to be a certified pharmacist to privately own a pharmacy, else you should have a pharmacist in your employ. Ditto hospital or clinic which you can only operate if you are certified medical doctor, then your hospital may have its own dispensary. Failure to adhere to these is inviting criminal prosecution. You can have a patent medicine store without being a pharmacist though, but then you are severely limited in the types and brands of drugs you are allowed to stock by law. |

Married Christians also need condoms as well as sexual performance enhancing drugs... So ask you can do is to not sell it to minors or teenagers you're sure are not married.. That way you would have cleared your conscience.. Same applies to alcohol sellers.. |

Bros I perceive dis is a matter of conscience. Being a medical personnel, I wouldn't want to bore u with d pros & cons. These hav already been highlighted by fellow naira landers above. I just want to address d conscience issue which is giving ur morality levels a heavy knock already or so it seems. Simply ensure condoms + other contraceptive devices, Viagra & other supplementary drugs in its class are packed together in one section of ur store where a buyer can easily sight them with the bold inscription "for the married" or "married only". Lastly when u receive an order from a customer who u suspect isn't married, don't ask any questions, just dispense. D inscription has conveyed all d message needed to help ur conscience. 3 Likes |

NurseEze1: Op, something in me makes me feel you are not a Nurse in the real sense of being a nurse.... there are different kinds of "nurses" we have in Nigeria today,.... those who passed through a Nursing/Midwifery school to get the RN/RM certificate, those who passed through the University/Teaching hospital to get the B.Sc in Nursing Science and those who were trained as Auxillary nurses in one private hospital or the other. Op something tells me you belong to the last category (I may be wrong though), otherwise, as A Qualified Christian Nurse, you should know that Condom is a form of barrier contraceptive and also has some other non-contraceptive benefits, and Viagra is used in ED (that is, if you get what I mean). Lastly, what are you licensed to practice? Patent medicine,?? Pharmacy?? or Nursing? Take the advice that caeser and others who know better gave you to avoid stories that touch... |
