gidieberry: If you check my screenshot very well, u will notice that have rooted my phone already and i cant do that without unlocking my bootloader. TWRP is my recovery already, I dont like Global rom or Xiaomi EU roms I prefer chinese Rom. and I tweak my miui launcher interface to be 6 x 4 which make the icon smaller instead default 5 x 4.

Atoos:You have a lot of options. Most Xiaomi phones have 4G(all phones from 2015) and 13 MP camera. What differs is the Chipset, RAM, ROM, Android version and LTE bands. |

4llerbuntu: Differences between ROM's are: 1) China Stable ROM All Xiaomi devices that are bought in China come with this type of ROM out of the box. It has Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) and English languages. It doesn't have Google Play Store or other Google services pre-installed because Google and Google services are blocked in China. Instead, it has Baidu, Weibo and other Chinese counterpart services. This version receives updates about every month. 2) China Developer ROM Same as the China Stable ROM, but it's getting updated every week and has the latest new features and updates of MIUI. Bugs here and there might appear, but they aren't very common. 3) Global Stable ROM All Xiaomi devices that aren't bought in China come with this type of ROM out of the box. It has multiple languages (some European and Indian languages). It has Google Play, Google services and Google apps instead of Chinese apps. This version isn't getting updated as often as the China Stable ROM. 4) Global Developer ROM Same as the Global Stable ROM, but it's getting updated bi-weekly and has the latest new features and updates of MIUI. Bugs here and there might appear, but they aren't very common. http://en.miui.com/thread-276900-1-1.html Why some Pple now prefer the china/chinese ROM is what baffles me. Those using the china/chinese ROM should pls explain 1 Like |
