Todays protest is a sign that A peaceful protest can done in Nigeria without any single evidence of violence.. Even to the point that the lagos state commissioner has to join in the protest...
But i still really dont understand this, Each time the ipobians go on a self proclaimed peaceful protest there is always shedding of blood and record of deaths...
or could it be as a result of the matured party behind todays protest or perhaps the over aggressiveness of Igbos... something must be missing

guys i need ur comment on this,,, so the Igbos can learn on how to make a peaceful protest without records of violence..

A protest with no bite is what you call protest. Even the federal government knows it is better to just let them be and it will fizzle out.
They have already intimidated or coerced the key voices anyway.
Engage in a purposeful protest and see if you will not be dealt with. Your CP has already warned you guys not to take things too serious or else he is going to unleash his guns on you all .

The protest holds no water and as such, poses no threat to Nigeria and the govt,it doesn't feel insecure..
Nigeria is always insecure whenever b*afra is mentioned not to talk of protest..you can't compare both!

[b]A protest with real purpose will lead to a clash especially in third world countries like Nigeria.
Why do you think the police clash with IPOB every single time , and have not been able to prove any wrong-doing on IPOB part, aside from lying that nobody was shot.? It is because the protesters were not joking and their demands and mannerism was capable of sparking a revolution. Even when the US was still a bit savage, a Dr martin luther king rally would more often than not lead to inevitable clash with the authorities, because his demands and actions were revolutionary and threatened the status quo, just like IPOB.
I am not saying that a good protest should be violent. Effective Protests are actually non-violent in developed countries.
But Nigeria is a third world country, and protests are supposed to be felt nationally to make any form of impact, the fact that nobody including the police is worried shows that the protest has failed.
A 2face led protest would have been close to an IPOB rally, but the authorities silenced him. What you have now are jesters.

OP you are mischievous........

The protest ended before it started.
This is not a ptotest instead its a rally .

When tu face who initiated the protest was cajoled to drop the idea, thats when the protest died...

This is case if Nnamdi Kanu says IPOB Should not protest and they went on to protest.

MASSOB HAS BEEN PROTESTING FOR MORETHAN 10YRS NOW YET NOBODY KNOWS WHETHER THEY ARE PTOTESTING OR NOT BECAUSE THE LEADER IS ALREADY BOUGHT.

This is no protest at all, rather a meaningless walk around the streets. Just take a look at them, does they look serious to u?,no clear cut agenda, porpose or aim, Even the police officer in their mist is smiling and taking selfie.

Bunch of unserious zombies

I always feel ipob protest are being led by illierates and immature leaders...
Always going aggressive in the face of guns in a developing country like this one...

I just pray and hope this protest leads to something we can all be proud of...

that's your belief @ the bolded, you think everything should be approached violently, this protest is bigger than any other protest the massob and IPOb has ever carried out and no one's getting shot.

lol, this protest is very visionless, there is no clear cut goal of this protest, let a police officer mistakinly fire a gun that place will be as empty as anything

If you believe what you wrote, then i can't help you. Self deception is a basic human right, after-all the consequences are not shared.
IPOB has graced the pages of every major newspaper and media outlet in the world and for a reason. Even when Americans were focused on trump and his presidency, IPOB was still gracing their major media.
When your jest of a protest finally get to the ears of buhari in london, let alone a ghanian newspaper let me know.

Lol, chicken hearted nigerians cant orgainze a sucessful protest. They are now looking for excuses for their flopped protest. Show me any evidence that IPOB went violent during their protest. Its their resolve that intimidate nigerians and they resort to killing in frustrations, unlike this protest which the organizers chickened out and the government highjacked it. Tuface gave up after few minutes with DSS but kanu has been there for years and still resolute
